Special Elevation Recognition: Jamie Hotaling

All month long, we’re highlighting careers that make an impact in senior living, and today we’re proud to recognize Jamie Hotaling, Memory Care Coordinator at Brentwood at Niles.

Jamie’s journey into memory care wasn’t by chance, it was recognized. With 28 years in healthcare, starting as a dietary aide and growing through hands-on experience, she now leads with both knowledge and deep empathy for residents and their families.

In memory care, every day looks different. When asked what advice she would give to someone considering a career in senior housing, Jamie shared:

"Make sure you have a true passion for it. You’ll witness emotional journeys as residents and families try to understand what’s happening. It’s incredibly rewarding… but it can also be stressful."
