Entheos Audiology Cooperative

Entheos Audiology Cooperative Entheos was established by audiologists who believe that there is a better way to grow your business and reignite your love of what you do.

We believe that together we can invigorate your staff, energize your community, and change the way your patients perceive your practice in your marketplace. There is no doubt that what we do on a day-to day basis challenges us as professionals, human beings, and business owners. Be it the care of patients, employees, family members, or our own fulfillment and balance, the unique aspect of our profession can quickly deplete our resources. Entheos is here to help focus these divergent aspects of your life, helping you to better serve all those that rely upon you and your practice.

Join Heidi Hill, AuD on December 5th, 12–1:30 PM EST for a CEU webinar on Optimal Hearing Aid Fittings with Auditory and Cognitive Processing in Mind.

SIGN UP BELOW!

As hearing aid technology advances, so must our clinical approach—especially for older adults facing both hearing loss and cognitive decline. This session explores how traditional fittings can unintentionally increase distortion and listening effort, and how evidence-based, cognitive-informed strategies can enhance outcomes.

All proceeds support the launch of Malawi’s first woman-owned, self-sustaining audiology clinic, led by one of the country’s pioneering audiologists, Yamikani Dumbo.

Let’s come together to advance best practice in audiology and help bring hearing care access to thousands in Malawi.

**The session will be recorded for those who cannot attend the live event.

For years, Daniel struggled with hearing loss. Simple conversations with his family became exhausting, and when they couldn’t afford new hearing aids, hope began to fade. Then they found Red Maple Audiology in Turner, Maine. Through the partnership of Hearing The Call and Red Maple Roots, Daniel received the gift of hearing and his family received the gift of connection.

This is the power of private practice.
As an Entheos member, you can build your own Give Back program or join one of our Hearing the Call outreach trips, both local and global. You’re encouraged to stay rooted in your community while contributing to a mission that reaches far beyond it.

We’ll provide the framework, resources, and support to make it happen.
You bring the passion and connection to your community.

Together, we’ll help more people like Daniel rediscover the sounds of life.

The Academy of Doctors of Audiology held its annual conference this year in Washington, D.C. Several Entheos members attended and participated in Lobby Day, where they met with US Representatives to advocate for their patients and the audiology profession. Their dedication to providing the highest standard of care continues to make a meaningful impact and change for better access to hearing health.

Antonia, a businesswoman in Guatemala, has faced her share of health challenges.

As an adult, she was diagnosed with diabetes and high blood pressure—major changes that she and her husband had to learn to manage together. Meanwhile, her hearing had been slowly declining, though not enough to raise alarm.

That changed suddenly when her blood pressure spiked, causing a blood vessel to burst in her ear and worsening her hearing loss. When she saw her doctor, the news came with a shock: if the vessel hadn’t burst in her ear, it likely would’ve ruptured in her brain. In a twist of fate, her hearing loss may have saved her life.

When Antonia met our team at Hospital de la Familia, she found more than support—she found solutions and regained some of her hearing. For Antonia and her husband, this moment was more than just progress—it was a powerful sign of new beginnings, reconnection, and an abundance of thankfulness.

“I couldn’t hear at all.”

This man in Malawi came to us unable to hear people speak. Testing showed a moderate hearing loss in one ear and severe loss in the other.

After being fit with hearing aids, he went from near silence to understanding conversations—a life-changing moment for him and for our team.

This is why we do what we do. 💛

Another amazing day in Malawi! Our team saw 65 patients, including 17 children, and completed 30 hearing aid fittings. 29 people were referred to ENT, many for wax removal—small steps make a huge difference in hearing health. Grateful for the impact and the smiles today! 💛
