I stand with the community of Allen, TX in deep sorrow and solidarity as we grieve the tragic loss and pain resulting from the shooting. Our hearts are heavy, and we extend our sincerest condolences to the families, friends, community, and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.

It is normal to have a lot of conflicting emotions and thoughts about what happened and wondering why this senseless act occurred. During this time it is important to have places and relationships to talk it out and process as best as you can. Try to remember to care for yourself and those around you. If you or someone you know is struggling to cope with this tragedy, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional. If you need recommendations I am happy to provide referrals.
