Our founder, Charles Jackson, took us down memory lane with "A Solid Foundation: The CMJ Story," and the evening was filled with fun, fellowship, and gratitude for this incredible team. Sincere gratitude goes out to Tom Catron (Cat) with Vigilant Services & Training, who came out today and presented “When Seconds Matter: Active Attack Response Training” to the staff at CMJ. Tom left us with invaluable information that I’m confident will not only help us maintain a safer workplace, but also brought greater awareness to our everyday lives. It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our long time friend, Steve Johnston. Steve has been with CMJ since March 4, 2002 and was the very first Materials Testing Technician hired. Steve's career spanned over 4 decades and he served CMJ and its clients with a high level of integrity, knowledge, skills, and wisdom that can only come with time. We are so thankful that Steve chose to be part of the CMJ family for all of these years and he will be deeply missed by so many in the construction community. Please keep the Johnston and CMJ families in your thoughts and prayers. Memorial service details will be shared as soon as they are available.
