“When should I start training for pregnancy or postpartum.”

This is a question I get often. Let me ask this instead. When would you start training to prevent diabetes, obesity, or an orthopedic injury? Start early. Get a better understanding or education on the topic. Stay consistent in your healthy lifestyle choices. These can be extremely helpful in prevention of all things!

Why is “simple” unattractive? I think when people hear “simple,” they also assume it means “boring” or “easy.” However, the beauty is in the simplicity. It is consistency when you don’t feel like it. It is dedication and patience in the process. It is moving well and often. I can promise you it won’t be “easy.”

This is the approach we take in physical therapy, also. No magic exercise. No quick fix. Nothing complex just to be attractive.

Time to get back to the basics; It’s that “simple.”

We tend to crush it when it comes to being REactive to a problem. But what if we were more PROactive?

Think of it like a savings account. Maybe I don’t need it right now, but by adding accessory work, gaining knowledge, and being consistent, I am building my savings account. Living an active lifestyle comes with the likelihood of small injuries. But that beats diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and neuro degeneration any day of the week. So build up that savings account! When you need it, it will improve your recovery and longevity.
