It’s pretty cool to be able to work with people from all walks of life:
Firefighters. Nurses. Analysts. Soon to be Graduates. Teachers. Accountants. Cheer coaches. And more.
Like… none of these individuals are full time athletes. They have real lives. With real issues that have to be navigated.
They each have come to understand the importance of working on themselves.
They’ve learned that it doesn’t happen overnight. It happens with the day to day /month to month actions that stack up to those big wins. 💯

The season is heating up again! Had the pleasure of working with .byr all the way in Ireland 🇮🇪 yesterday 😍
So excited for her season and some show plans in America this year!! ✈️
Made some pretty substantial changes in all of her mandatory poses and will be creating her routine next!
Figure is fun as it’s one of the only divisions where we don’t use the mandatory loses as the sole base of the routine 😁 Get to get a little creative!

Somehow we are still talking about this 😅😅
I think for some people it’s a love-hate relationship for sure! But at the end of day, it is a vital necessity and one that has more benefits than most realize:

👉🏼Regulates Body Functions: Water keeps body temperature normal, lubricates joints, and protects sensitive tissues.
👉🏼Boosts Physical/Mental Performance: It prevents dehydration-induced fatigue, improves concentration, and boosts energy levels.
👉🏼Supports Digestion and Metabolism: Water is vital for breaking down food, preventing constipation, and supporting weight management.
👉🏼Detoxification: It aids the kidneys in flushing waste products and bacteria from the body.
👉🏼Skin Health: Proper hydration helps keep skin moisturized and may reduce signs of dryness.
If one more of y’all come to me with complaints of bloating and aren’t drinking your water I will lose it 😤🤣🤣🫶🏻🫶🏻 jkjk. There’s always more to the story- but let’s cross this one off the list ✅

My girl getting ready to dive into her SECOND prep!!!
I am STOKED with the body composition we are coming out with after over a year off. Focussed on GROWING after her show in Aug 2024, she had a stellar reverse and we were able to get 2 solid growth phases in in that time as well.
As a natural athlete, it’s important to keep in mind her muscle building potential is less than that of an enhanced athlete. BUT that doesn't mean it's impossible! As you cab see from these pics- Holly has some great genetics for muscle growth and I cant wait to peel back the layers.
The plan going in to this prep is to be a bit more aggressive with fat loss. We want to come in significantly leaner than her last Show day per judges feedback AND KEEP as much of her accrued muscle as possible 🤩💪🏼
And thats exactly what were going to do 😈

Successful Reverse for Fit Model client .gar annnddd now we get to GROW!
We’ve discussed that while Tessa has a great shape and good muscular base, there’s still some areas we want to bring up before she steps on stage for the first time.
The pic on the right is the START of her growth phase 🥹😍 The left is from one of our first checkins reversing out of another cut… another story…
Sooo excited to be in this together with plans to not only prep this year but also GRADUATE!! 👩🏼‍🎓 WILD.

Clarissa. This seems like a lot…. Surely it’s not all that bad.
Maybe. But I’m not risking feedback of “work on your posing” over it. 😬
Why did I harp on Wide arms so much??
#1 IT 👏🏼 FLATTENS 👏🏼 YOUR 👏🏼 SHOULDERS 👏🏼
•2 it removes the streamlined look
•3 it does NOT magically make your lays bigger 💀
•4 in some cases it will cause your lats to lengthen instead of spread.
•5 you run the risk of bumping in to another competitor on stage… not cool.
So let’s not do it. (Vid coming on proper setup soon 😘)

👉🏼Bending over in your back Pose:
Ew. No one wants to see that
BUT ALSO. the judges are seated below you! They can’t see ANY of your back if you’re not showing it to them! 🤯
And guess what, you’re judged on what they can SEE not what they assume is there.

👉🏼 Bending Forward in your Side Pose
Thankfully I’m not seeing this as much. I think people did it to get more out of their upper body? Not sure. Could also be a mobility thing (work on that Tspine ladies!)
All in all: stand up tall and TWIST 🥨
👉🏼Overly Dramatic Setup
It’s not necessary. It’s not cute. Work on smoothing it out ladies. It’s possible I promise. Secure yourself from the ground up and everything else will follow.

👉🏼Hiking the shoulder:
This is done because some athlete feel it will make their shoulders look bigger.
It doesn’t.
When you pull the traps it lengthens the Lats. Bye bye X frame 🥲
So instead, keep the shoulders DOWN and push the elbows into the armpits to help cap the shoulder. Or grow bigger shoulders. (it’s BODYBUILDING- and I’m not a magician 🪄)

👉🏼Knife Hands 🔪
OR FRANKLY: any hand gestures that aren’t natural or feminine and take the eyes away from the physique. Don’t do that. 👍🏼

👉🏼 Wide Feet in your Front or Back Pose
YOUR LEGS WILL NOT LOOK BIGGER
AND the judges will tell you to pose with your fett together next time. 😬 Sooo let’s not do it at all?? 🙏🏼
If you need the illusion of bigger legs, point the toes out and push out with the knees. If this doesn’t help: book a session with a posing coach 😅😅

Bridal prep has officially begun for McKenna!! That’s right…. This transformation isn’t even the start of her cut!! 🤯🤯
We’ve been working to build and tighten up over the last couple months. But hadn’t even started the real WORK yet!!
Which makes me heckin excited 😈😈
What we did here:
👉🏼 Implemented a structured by flexible meal plan with calorie average starting at 2200-1895.
👉🏼 Cardio 4x250 calories (taking her maybe 30min?)
👉🏼 Training 4-5x a week. Sometimes less 😆
👉🏼 Supplements utilized to help with overall health and cortisol control as she does have a high stress job.
👉🏼 Still having free meals each week!!! 🥂
Really excited because we have officially pulled the trigger to start her BRIDAL CUT!! We put in the work and setup some awesome baseline practices to set her up for a SUCCESSFUL bridal prep!!

Some of the coolest transformations… have nothing to do with losing weight 🤩
Erika came to me with the hopes of *maybe * competing in a Wellness comp one day!! A big feat- but after talking with her I knew she had what it takes.
This is 4 weeks together just learning her body. Getting ready to start a growing season so we can build her a more competitive lower half 🤩🤩
Throughout this:
👉🏼We had a 4 day training split at 2-3 RIR (not even close to failure sets yet!)
👉🏼Averaged her calories at about 2000 (rest days a bit lower than training days)
👉🏼Kept cardio minimal: 3 days a week 150cals. Usually took her about 15 min- EASY
👉🏼 Implemented food sources that allowed her digestion to flow smoothly
👉🏼 Made food swaps when needed
Sooo happy with the progress visually here: the scale stayed the same!!!!
This is a true Recomp yall.
Her picture look better even though her weight didn’t change. 🤯🤯
Too many are conditioned to think the scale is the driver of progress and that’s simply not true. It’s a tool.
