Lisa has come so far with her posing getting ready for her first Fit Model show! 🥹
We made some huge strides in her routine and presentation today:
✅ Cleaning up her routine
✅ Swapping some moves so we don’t risk getting dizzy
✅ Figured out a big habits that’s holding her back in some poses
✅ and found a cue that’s taking her walk to the next level! 😍😍

I’ve got a couple clients right now doing macros only and as much “freedom” as the macro approach allows you, you do still have to hit those goals…..
If you are struggling to do so… It can be a real game changer to actually plan some things out. You are still able to “eat what you want” but within reason and Setting yourself up for success in the process.
Still not sure how to do this?
I provide [for those who need it] a “sample meal plan” so they can see exactly how I would structure their day if they were doing a meal plan. This gives them an idea of what foods they can be eating to accomplish their goals, but also what portion sizes are reasonable as well.
A real game changer esp if you’re new to the process as a whole!

I think my clients are sometimes confused at first why I don’t decrease the intensity at the start of prep/cut. I think a lot of times we think that we “earn “a little less intensity because we’re already suffering…

This was a concept that I first realized in 2021 when I turned pro. The fact that the it took heavy weights to build the muscle and it was not going to stick around if I stopped lifting said heavy weights. Lol. Of course, when we are in a deficit, we don’t have the same level of strength as we do in a surplus. But! That does not mean that we can’t still Train as heavy as our body will allow in the moment.(within the allotted rep range.)

This is something I am continuing to remind myself inside of our current cleanup phase. While my calories have been reduced a bit, my strength has followed. But working hard to keep pushing the weight that I can!
👉🏼Having a spotter helps a lot to keep me in line and allows for a couple for reps in the event that we can still try and encourage some muscle growth.

‼️Moral of the story, you don’t let off the gas just because you are dying or in a fat loss phase! It’s hard for a reason. That’s why not everyone can do it. 😉

‼️Be sure to share and save this Stage Walk Tip‼️
I’m still constantly getting asked how to improve the walk. And something that I’m seeing a lot of is pelvis’ pulled forward instead of pushed back…
In a sport where you are judged on your conditioning, the last thing you want is to give any inclination of loose skin. By pushing the hips back, we immediately tighten those posterior muscles in the glutes and hamstrings and by walking with intention instead of too fast or too slow, You allow for a nice pace that will keep things from jiggling unnecessarily. 🫧

Ahhh. The life of an Online Fitness Coach 🥲
It’s totally ok if any of these things are you. I say it’s ok because, odds are you don’t even know that’s not normal or healthy. 🙏🏼
👉🏼There’s so many people overtraining and not seeing results and they “don’t know why.” I’ll leave it at that. See other posts.
👉🏼There’s so many people with digestive issues who genuinely think that it’s normal to only be able to 💩 after their morning coffee (I 💩 first thing in the morning every day. Sometimes twice before ☕️). This is a real issue and something that needs to be looked at from multiple angles so I will not give you and answer- I don’t know enough about YOU to do so in this caption 💖
👉🏼The last one…. Why does everyone hate on water 😭😭 sure it tastes like nothing- but it’s not BAD. Why does everything you eat need to be exciting?? Adding stuff to shout water then wondering why we can’t 💩 👀🙈 Good rule of thumb: glad your bodyweight in ounces of water. ‼️BUT MORE if you’re actively working out ‼️

Fit model client has successfully completed her first growth phase 🥹
Coming out of a stressful situation previously we managed to:
👉🏼 Get back her period
👉🏼 Raise her food to 2635 avg cals
👉🏼 Keep cardio to about 10min 3x/week
👉🏼 GROW SOME MUSCLE basically everywhere but noticeable increases in legs and shoulders
👉🏼 Better relationship with food (she did this growth phase tracking her macros)
OH! And did I mention she’s in her Senior year????
👏🏼THIS IS HOW YOU WORK 👏🏼
One more free meal for this rockstar then we pull the trigger on her prep! She has the plan all ready to go and is ON TOP of everything she needs to continue executing at this high level.

Huge shoutout to longtime client
For a solid while we only worked on training together. It’s what she could commit to at the time and we saw a good bit of progress with her body composition without changing how she ate too much.
Fast forward to Sept 2025 and I finally convinced her… to change up her eating habits. *cough * cough * actually eat ENOUGH 😅🥹
And looook at this beast we’re building!!!
Muscle Growth literally everywhere. But also some pretty impressive fat loss along the way!! 🤯🤯
She continues to impress me week to week. Communication and coachability are 2 things she really does well and it’s paid off so well.
And will continue to as we keep pushing for her goal physique! 🤩🤩
