Let’s talk postpartum food! It’s just a waiting game for me now! Any day could bring us the first meeting with our newest blessing.
As someone who loves to nourish people, I’ve been stocking up on freezer foods for my own family! Here’s a list of foods I’m making to prepare for my 4th trimester:
🥖Chocolate Zucchini Bread
🍌Banana Bread Muffins
🌮Chicken Avocado taquitos
🥥Coconut & Banana smoothie pops
🥪Egg and Sausage Breakfast Sandwiches or Burritos
🍫Chocolate Almond Oat Bars

Many of these recipes I got from the lovely .food.doula when I took her training and bought her cook book! Cannot recommend her enough 👍🏼

I tested out a new offering for my current and past clients today. And let me tell you, we almost ate the whole thing in one sitting 😂

I present: Seeded Soda Bread with Golden Raisins. All those seeds provide healthy fats and lovely nutrients. Plus, half of the flour is whole wheat, so it has a touch of that deep nutty flavor. And the buttermilk is grass-fed!
