Last week, Easterseals Lonestar attended the WorkQuest 18th Annual Artie Lee Hinds Award Dinner.

The highlight of the evening was celebrating Thomas, a valued member of our Paid Job Training crew, for his outstanding work in lawncare and the incredible support he shows his peers every day. Thomas was presented with a plaque and a monetary award and had the opportunity to take a photo with guest of honor and keynote speaker, football legend Doug Flutie.

In just four months with Paid Job Training, Thomas has consistently shown a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. This recognition reflects not only his personal achievements but also the meaningful impact of our Paid Job Training program in helping individuals build stability and a brighter future.

We are proud to announce our new volunteer partnership with the Texas Wranglers to support afterschool programming at Greenleaf, our inclusive school for neurodiverse students in Central Texas.

Beginning this fall, Wranglers will bring their energy and creativity to Greenleaf each week, leading activities like art, karaoke, e-gaming and crafting. These enrichment opportunities will build confidence, support social-emotional growth and create lasting mentorship for our students.

The Wranglers have been dedicated partners to Easterseals since 1998, and this next chapter deepens their legacy of service.
