I threw away my scale 6 years ago.
That little number had too much power.

It dictated my mood.
It decided whether I felt “good enough.”
It made my body something to manage instead of something to listen to.

Throwing it away was radical for me.
It was the beginning of learning to measure wellness by: Energy. Strength. Peace. Regulation
