Best Hair Brush

It's not very important what type of brush you use as long as the tips of the bristles are rounded and you don't brush excessively. Natural bristle brushes, which most often are made from boar hairs, have naturally tapered, rounded tips the bristles are soft and flexible. The cut edges of nylon filaments used for nylon brushes may be rough and jagged unless they are polished and rounded off. The filaments may be quite stiff. The stiff rough, jagged edges can contribute to split ends, hair breakage and scalp irritation. Cheap nylon brushes are more likely to have rough edges since polishing them off would add to the manufacturing costs. You should be able to determine if the edges are rough or too stiff by rubbing the brush across the palm of your hand.
