The West Coast Barrel Racing Association family is heartbroken by the loss of Brian Haney.
Since bringing the WCBRA Finals to Tulare in 2021, Brian has been an integral part of our success serving in his role at the International Agri-Center. While many of our members may not have known Brian personally, he was truly a backbone of our event, always working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly and successfully.
Brian was a constant, welcoming presence, a true advocate for the sport of barrel racing, and someone who genuinely cared about the people and events he supported.
He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back without hesitation. His work ethic, kindness, and steady presence left a lasting mark on our association and on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him.
While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he rests in the hands of the Lord.
We extend our deepest prayers and condolences to Brian’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
