When I first started learning to meditate, that's when I realized just how busy my mind can be.

Ever try this?
Sit quietly.
Silence your thoughts.
Visualize a calm stream....
Ok try to silence your thoughts again.
Visualize... All the thoughts... 🥴

That never worked for me until I learned to simply allow my thoughts and focus on my breath, sensations, sounds, and just feeling the air.

Then my favorite wrench to throw into the thought gears - Think, "what will my next thought be?" (Huge thanks to Wayne Dyer for that one!)

There's a good reason meditation is often referred to as a practice, because that's what it takes, but don't keep practicing the same approach if it doesn't work for you.

Try something different. You'll find an approach or two that works best for you. Then practice it regularly and you'll see the benefits in no time.

Or the "benefits OF no time." 🤯😉

What does thriving look like to you?

To me it looks like living with love in your heart, ease in your body, peace in your mind, strength and endurance, and a purpose that drives you to expand and grow.

You don't have to meditate all day to experience the benefits. A simple daily practice of 5 minutes of focused, intentional breathing helps to reduce stress, refresh, your mind, and support your health.

Meditation doesn't require absolute quiet, just presence and focus. If you make it a priority, you'll be glad you did.

Meditation isn't something mystical. It's natural. It serves many purposes and has many benefits.

There are many methods to meditate.

You don't have to sit still.
You don't have to have a completely quiet mind.

Start with simply being present with everything in your surroundings.

Be present with your breath.

The rest will come with practice and it is well worth the practice.

I first started to feel energy when I was 14 years old. I noticed tingling in my left hand and simply thought I had been playing the guitar too much (if there is such a thing 😅).

When I placed my focus on the sensation, it increased... Then I looked at my right hand and the tingling sensation jumped to the right hand.

That was the beginning of a non-stop journey into energy healing, consciousness, and spiritual development for me.

Now I love to teach others to reconnect and work with the natural energy system for healing, personal growth, stress reduction, and so much more.
