March Matness Day 11: Saw ❤️‍🔥

This exercise is very specific! It has several movements and little details that each need to be executed properly in order to reap the full benefits of the exercise. We are focused on the arm reaching for the pinky toe and maintaining a flat back throughout the exercise!

March Matness Day 10: Corkscrew and Advanced Corkscrew

Love seeing this exercise from this angle because you can really notice how Heather moves with precision and accuracy throughout! Her upper body is staying still while her legs move during corkscrew, and then you can see how she rolls down one vertebrae at a time on either side of the back as she lifts andlowers out of the advanced corkscrew exercise 😍

March Matness Day 9: Open Leg Rocker 🤩

This exercise requires core strength and balance! Emily does a great job of showing the difference here between her C curve for when she rolls back and a flat spine at the top. Really nice work ❤️‍🔥

March Matness Day 6: Single Leg Stretch 😍

Michele, a recent graduate of the BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training course and now an instructor on staff, demonstrates a beautiful Single Leg Stretch! Notice how her upper body stays completely stable as she engages her core and isolates the movement in the legs. Nice work!

March Matness Day 4: Leg Circles ⭕️

This ab exercise requires you to fully isolate your leg as it moves in both clockwise and counterclockwise circles. The goal is to keep the rest of your body completely still while your lower abs engage and control the circular motion.

March Matness Day 3: Roll Over 🤸

The Roll Over is part of the Spinal Articulation block and one of the first inversions we introduce. Its name comes from the final phase of the exercise, where you slowly articulate the spine back to the mat, lowering one vertebra at a time with control and precision.

March Matness Day 2: Roll Up ✨ A fun but challenging exercise that targets your core and pushes you to have control over each part of the exercise.
