๐ŸŒŸ Celebrating Emily Bell's Sobriety for National Recovery Month! ๐ŸŒŸ

Emily's journey to recovery began when she was 15 years old. Early on she grappled with a constant sense of not fitting in, searching for anything to fill the void within her. Drugs and alcohol were her initial escape, but the consequences of her disease soon followed her. Emily walked down a chaotic path of treatment centers, hospitals, overdoses, jail time, severed relationships, and homelessness. It wasn't until she fully embraced the 12 Steps of AA that she found serenity and a newfound hope in her life. She rekindled her connection with God and discovered peace. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™Œ

Emily's most notable achievement in recovery has been staying sober and building a life worth living.

Emily's favorite part of working at Fort is the opportunity to carry the message and take our adult and adolescent clients through the step work. She teaches the 12 Steps to any client who has enough honesty, open mindedness, and willingness to change their life. ๐Ÿ“˜๐Ÿ“˜

๐ŸŒป Advice from Emily: To anyone struggling from addiction, "Recovery is genuinely possible. Happiness and freedom are within reach. Through the 12 Steps I regained the hope I thought was lost." ๐ŸŒป

Emily never believed she could experience genuine joy and freedom, but her recovery journey has allowed her to do just that. Today, she not only finds joy and freedom but also helps others on their journey to sobriety, surrounded by a supportive community. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค

Emily Bell's story is a testament to the transformative power of recovery, proving that hope can be rekindled, and lives can be rebuilt. ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™

โœจ Meet Libby, a shining example of resilience during National Recovery Month, who found her way from despair to self-love and purpose! โœจ

After living years of her life struggling with the ability to love herself in active addiction, Libby finally made the decision to seek help and get treatment. This was her 1st step in recovery.

๐Ÿ’– Since achieving sobriety, Libby's most significant achievement has been the profound journey of self-discovery. She has unearthed her ability to genuinely appreciate herself. ๐Ÿ’–

Libby now has the opportunity to share her experience of strength and hope everyday working at FORT. Her favorite part of her job is watching the evolution of a client come into treatment broken and hopeless, and how by the time they discharge theyโ€™ve made a complete 360 mentally and emotionally. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿค

Words of Wisdom from Libby: To those grappling with addiction, "You CAN have peace in your life again and it WILL be beautiful." ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿ™

Before getting sober Libby never thought sheโ€™d have the ability to love herself. In recovery this IS possible. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’•

๐ŸŒ„ From Darkness to Light: Chad battled a 10-year fight with op**te addiction. For a decade he lived life in active addiction admitting to rehab after rehab. In 2016 Chad finally won his battle against addiction, he chose a different path. Now Chad embraces a different kind of lifestyle. One free from addiction, filled with spending quality time with his family, outdoor adventures, gaming with his son, but most importantly helping people in their own journey into sobriety. His transformation is a testament to the power of recovery. ๐ŸŒ„

Chad's most remarkable accomplishment post-sobriety is the restoration of trust and relationships with his children and wife, and getting the opportunity to work in the treatment industry.

Chad thrives at Fort, where decisions are made swiftly and adaptability is key. This means they can tailor their program to the unique needs of their clients. ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ

Advice from Chad: To those battling addiction: "Open your mind, be humble, and donโ€™t give up." ๐Ÿง

๐Ÿ’ช Chad's journey from rehab dropout to Adult Program Manager showcases the incredible transformation that can occur in recovery. He now helps others on their path to sobriety, a role he never imagined before getting clean. ๐Ÿ’ช

Chad's story is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the endless possibilities of recovery. ๐ŸŒŸ

โœจMeet Kim Griffin, a beacon of hope and strength during National Recovery Month! โœจ

During Kimโ€™s battle with addiction and alcoholism, she faced the shadows of liver failure, seizures, and unhealthy relationships. Her life teetered on the brink of despair, with numerous hospital visits and detoxes. At the end of her drinking and using career she was surrounded by consequences, but within her darkest moments, a spark of resilience ignited.

๐Ÿš€ Kim's biggest triumph is her transformed life. She's embraced a healthy body, a wholesome lifestyle, and most importantly, rebuilt precious family bonds. ๐Ÿš€

Kim's journey led her to FORT, where she now works passionately to help others on their path to recovery. She witnesses the incredible transformation clients undergo in just 30 days of dedicated effort.

Advice from Kim: To anyone struggling with addiction, she says, "Don't give up before the miracle happens. Don't give up on yourself. Do it for You!". ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Kim's story is a testament to the miracles of recovery. She enjoys a close relationship with her great niece, and on Kimโ€™s 1 year of sobriety anniversary they both got to go to the circus together. ๐ŸŽช

Kim G's journey from the depths of addiction to a life filled with love, purpose, and joy is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible for anyone. ๐ŸŒŸ

Our Philosophy

Everyone has a story

We believe that every person comes to us at a different point on their journey, and has arrived at our door by way of their own path. Knowing that we can never fully understand what someone else has experienced, we seek to listen without assumption to their story: the joys, the pains, the challenges, and the triumphs. We also hope that in seeking to know our clients, they gain new perspective on themselves

Embrace the Present

Trust and mutual understanding create a safe space for our clients to learn healthy coping and begin to establish (or re-establish) meaningful relationships in their lives. From this foundation of presence and acceptance of what is and what has come before, hope begins to re-emerge.
