Had a wonderful time last weekend! was the perfect venue for this great event. The Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center and their staff do amazing work for our patients and I feel so fortunate to be able to work with them. Looking forward to attending again next year!

I just saw a great picture of our surgery residents with Engle, Baylor Scott & White - All Saint’s new pet therapy dog so I decided to post a flash back picture from when I was a resident with our pet therapy dog. So glad has taken the time to invest in such a wonderful program!

I decided to cool off with and get some exercise on my way to work this week. It’s been a couple years and I loved every second. Might make it a regular workout for the summer. Don’t worry I don’t jump anymore! Everyone stay hydrated. It’s gonna be a hot week!

I have always been impressed by runners. Both the mental and physical capacity to run long distances is amazing. And to do that while on chemotherapy is really quite a feat. Kay did this interview in hopes that people can learn from her story. I’m so proud of her and all my patients that battle this disease.

The Cowtown Marathon is just days away and this year, a Fort Worth woman is planning to cross the finish line to celebrate beating cancer.

Well…. We are closed again on Friday, February 3rd. I was hopefully that we would be open but with all the rain today and freezing temps tonight, the roads won’t be safe in the morning. Thank you everyone for being so understanding about all the rescheduling. Hopefully it will be business as usual Monday.

Please everyone be safe on all the ice out there! I took a little spill today but thankfully I have some experience falling on the ice from my figure skating days and bounced back on my feet ⛸️⛸️
