But her role goes beyond programming. Susie personally welcomes new residents, connects them with resident ambassadors, and organizes welcome luncheons so no one settles in alone.
She helps lead the resident council. She makes the community feel like a community. 🤝

In April, we’re recognizing Asthma & Allergy Awareness, and at Civitas Senior Living, we know that respiratory health plays an important role in overall well-being. 💙
Asthma and allergies can often go unrecognized in older adults, but with awareness and the right support, we can help improve comfort, activity, and quality of life.
Simple things like noticing breathing changes, paying attention to nighttime symptoms, identifying environmental triggers, and regularly reviewing medications can make a meaningful difference.

Activity Director Brittany and Memory Care Coordinator Bree created something different: a monthly cooking show where residents get hands-on with recipes. They call it "The Bree & Brittany Cooking Show Series," and it's become a regular hit.
This month, residents made chocolate pudding dirt cups, crushed cookies, and sprinkled gummy worms. Next month? Red, white, and blue cheesecake salad. The pair picks recipes based on seasons and national food days, turning cooking into a way to connect.
