A great day to be out on the farm. Today we harvested radishes, turnips, tomatoes, and a few more greens! We also planted some sweet potatoes.

Another successful day out at Tabor Farm! Our first tomatoes have turned a beautiful shade of red. We harvested more greens and radishes and planted some black eyed peas. Doesn't it look lovely out there?

See how much our urban farm, Tabor Farm, has grown! Last week, we harvested collards, mustards, and kale, and we planted watermelon and summer squash. Help us out again on the farm this Saturday! 👨‍🌾👩‍🌾

Each Saturday from 9am-11am we host Gardens on the Go handing out bags of produce for anyone with $5!
We alternate weekends at Higher Praise Family Church and Greater Mount Tabor Christian Center. We will be at Tabor this Saturday. Come by and bring a friend!

Gardens on the Go will be open at Greater Mt. Tabor Christian Center, 2513 S. Edgewood Terrace, FW, 76105 on Saturday, 10 April 2021 from 9 - 11 a.m. $5 cash buys a big bag of fresh fruits and veggies. Special items this week include a head of cauliflower, red bell peppers, and D'Anjou pears. We have also ordered bananas, potatoes, and Roma tomatoes. Prices are rising at the store, and this same bag would run over $11 at Walmart!

I have attached a photo of last week's bag - that is a big pile of food for just $5!
