Golfers: your low back pain may not actually be a “low back problem.”
A lot of times, the lower back is just paying the price for poor hip mobility, limited thoracic rotation, or swing mechanics that overload the lumbar spine. That’s why the lower back is often the victim, not the culprit.
If you only treat the pain without addressing the movement problem behind it, it usually keeps coming back.
This is why assessing how your body moves is such a big deal.
