Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to provide an important update regarding the temporary closure of the Clayton Child Development Center at Near Southside.
Unfortunately, we will need to remain closed as there has been some difficulty with the delivery and installation of the HVAC parts. Due to the current conditions inside the center, ongoing repair work, and the forecasted temperatures over the next few days, it is not safe or a comfortable situation for us to reopen at this time. The estimated timeframe for delivery and installation of the necessary parts is 3–5 business days. We will keep you informed every day on the status of repairs.
As an option, we are offering alternative care at our Keller ISD Child Development Center, located at 10310 N. Riverside Dr.. If you would like to take advantage of this option, please contact either Raina Orr at rorr@claytonyouth.org or Dawn Carr at dcarr@claytonyouth.org so that arrangements can be made. Please note that spaces are limited and will be assigned based on the order in which families reach out.
Additionally, please note that for our full-time children, if the closure extends beyond three days, we will prorate tuition accordingly.
We understand how challenging unexpected closures can be and sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all children and staff.
