Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Compassion met purpose right at our front door, and it couldn’t have been more fitting that she stepped into what we proudly call our “Stress-Free Zone.”

This week at Lotus Assisted Living Facility we did a Bouquet Making activity. Each resident got to put their unique touch on their bouquet ! Special thanks to for providing us with flowers 🌺

Lotus Assisted Living Facility turned to a medieval haven, thanks to Vitas Hospice. They covered the entire outing Miss Brandy, her children,and the whole crew to Medieval Times in Dallas. Brandy is a terminal‑cancer warrior, and watching her laugh under those banners reminded us all what courage looks like.

Vitas showed up as the quiet superheroes, making the day happen so we could just be present. LOTUS held the space, Brandy held the spirit, and we all fought the day together.

We’re all warriors. Some wear crowns, some wear hospital bracelets, all of us carry love. Comment “visit” so we can take you or your love on trip once they become a resident with Lotus Assisted Living ! 🪷

Anissa Gonzalez and Adrian Bledsoe from Life Springs Care stopped by to spend time with our Lotus family, Love, stories, and lots of smiles. We love partnering with neighbors who share our commitment to dignity and joy.

That same spirit drives Freedom Hospice. We have openings for loved ones who need compassionate, 24‑hour care that feels like home. Our team (and friends like Anissa and Adrian) believes every chapter deserves respect, comfort, and a few good laughs.

Zooming through the hallway like a boss on her 👩🏻‍🦼💨 Super Handy Mobility Scooter!!! Our favorite resident took her scooter, with a new seat, for a spin Chamillionaire style…leaving a trail of giggles 😂 and dirty moves. Who said assisted living is limited to seniors only? 😜
