Standing Rock Indian Health Service Standing Rock Service Unit is part of the Great Plains Area. SRSU includes the Fort Yates Hospital, Emergency Room, Clinic and McLaughlin Health Center.

Standing Rock IHS Service Unit includes the Fort Yates Hospital/Clinic, McLaughlin Health Center, and Satellite Clinics. Fort Yates includes the Fort Yates Hospital (12 bed) Accredited by TJC (The Joint Commission), Emergency Room (4 bay, Level 4 Trauma Level Certified), Outpatient Clinic, Dental Clinic, Optometry Clinic, Behavioral Health Clinic, Dietary and Public Health Nursing. McLaughlin Health Center includes the McLaughlin Outpatient Clinic, Dental Clinic, and Public Health Nursing. Appointments for Behavioral Health and Dietary are available at the McLaughlin Clinic also. Fort Yates Hospital Hours of Operation:

All clinics are closed on Federal Holidays, ER remains open. Emergency Department remains open 24/7

Due to inclement weather, The Fort Yates and McLaughlin Clinics will be closing at 11AM CST.

The ED and Inpatient will remain open.

Due to changing weather conditions, Standing Rock Service Unit will close today at 12:00. Pharmacy will remain until mornings patients have received their medications. Stay Safe!

Early Dismissal Announcement in observance of Good Friday; SRSU Outpatient Clinics will close at 1:30 p.m. Emergency and Inpatient remain open 24/7.

Please be aware there are currently winter weather warning for our area tomorrow. Clinic closures will be announced on local radio stations and FB in the morning should closures be necessary.

The SRSU dental clinic will have limited emergency availability this week due to staffing and school outreach visits.

Same Day emergency appointments can be made each day by calling 605-823-4151. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

The following week, April 6th, we will have a new contract dentist starting orientation and will start seeing patients the following week. We will start scheduling appointments for the new provider upon completion of her orientation
