MESAJ 12: PWEZI SE AMIZAN — TAN RIM
Pwezi ka komik, serye, oswa yon melanj toude. Ou ka panse pwezi twò difisil pou pitit ou, men li ka fè lekti a tounen yon plezi. Avèk timoun piti yo, chwazi liv ki gen rim. Pran plezi nou!

MESSAGE 12 POETRY IS FUN—RHYME TIME

Poetry can be silly or serious or a mix. You may think poetry is too hard for your child, but it can make reading really fun. With little ones, choose books that rhyme. When your child hears you read poems aloud, he starts listening for special sounds. Identifying sounds is a very early reading skill. Say the words with rhyming sounds loudly to contrast with other words. Then you repeat the words that rhyme. Have your child repeat them. Make up other words to rhyme with them--even pretend words. Have fun!

MESAJ 13

Nan 6 mwa, etid yo montre l ap deplase mwens nan vant ou, epi batman kè li vin pi dousman lè li tande vwa w.

Tibebe ki poko fèt yo ap koute avèk anpil atansyon. Se poutèt sa, depi lè yo fèt, tibebe yo prefere son vwa manman yo pase yon vwa yo pa janm tande.

MESSAGE 13

Babies Start Hearing Early in the Womb
At 18 weeks your baby's ears start to send signals to its brain about the sounds that they can hear.
At just 41/2 months in the womb, a baby can already hear sound. They may hear muted sounds from the outside world. When your stomach gurgles. The sound of your talking and heart beating.
By 6 months studies show they’ll move around less in the womb and have a slower heartbeat when they hear their mother’s voice.
Unborn babies are listening very carefully. This is why, from the moment they’re born, babies prefer the sound of their mother’s voice to one they’ve never heard.
