It is with a heavy heart that I announce the Permanent Closing of TLC Xpress Pharmacy.
For the past 17 years, this pharmacy has been far more than a business to me—it has been a defining chapter of my life. It has given me the opportunity to grow not only as an entrepreneur, but as a husband, father, and healthcare provider to a community I deeply care about. I am incredibly grateful for the relationships, memories, and experiences that have come from this journey. Each patient, colleague, and friend I’ve met along the way has played a meaningful role in shaping who I am today.
I thank God for the blessing of this opportunity—to build something meaningful, to provide for my family, and to serve others with care and compassion. It has always been my hope that TLC Xpress Pharmacy delivered the highest level of professionalism and service to everyone who walked through our doors.
Seventeen years ago, I was a young staff pharmacist at CVS with a vision. I would not have been able to take that leap without the unwavering support of my grandparents—especially my Grandpa Yen, may he rest in peace—my Parents, my Godfather John Pham, and my three Siblings. I am also deeply thankful to my In-laws and my bro Tri La for the funds to help take my practice to the next level. Also, a huge Thank You to my BFFs Jason and Kelly, who helped me overcome the final hurdles to solidify the many successful years that followed.
To my TLC Xpress staff: thank you for your loyalty, dedication, and patience throughout the years. Your support through both the challenges and successes has meant more to me than I can fully express. I hope I have led you with fairness, respect, and heart. A special shout-out for my most loyal Lead Tech Miguel—may you rest in peace. You are missed every day, and your presence will always be part of this pharmacy’s story.
To my family and friends: thank you for your unwavering love and encouragement. Your belief in me and your continued support of the pharmacy have been the foundation of its longevity and success.
To all the interns who have trained and worked here: thank you for your contributions and commitment. It has been a privilege to be part of your journey, and I hope your time here has provided valuable experiences that will guide you in your future careers.
Finally, to my wife, Gwenyth La—thank you for standing beside me through every season of this journey. You came into my life at a time when I was struggling, and through your love, strength, and belief in me, you helped me rebuild and move forward. You have been my constant source of support through every challenge and every success. The life we’ve built together, and our three beautiful boys, are my greatest blessings and achievements. You are my inspiration in everything I do. I love you to the moon and back!
To everyone who has been part of TLC Xpress Pharmacy’s story—thank you for the bottom of my heart. This has been an incredible and meaningful journey that I will carry with me always. While this chapter is coming to a close, it is not a goodbye. Gwen and I look forward to your continued love and support as we step into the next chapter of our lives.
