Carotid Artery Disease is a disease in which a waxy substance called plaque builds up inside the carotid arteries. This can result in decreased blood flow or as extreme as completely blocking the flow of blood to the brain.

Some changes in life style to help lower risk include: 🏋️‍♂️👟💪🏼

* A low cholesterol diet ( includes vegetables, fruits and lean meats)
* Lower blood sugar to reduce inflammation to the lining of the carotid arteries (includes a low sugar diet and exercise)
* Regular exercise (2.5-5 hours per week for adults)
* Quit smoking (smoking causes the restriction of blood vessels which decreases blood flow to the arteries)

It’s important to put your heath first! As well as creating healthy lifestyle habits 😀

Many people are curious about the relationship between exercise and varicose veins.
There’s no foolproof method for preventing varicose veins, but keeping physically active can reduce your risk.
Regular exercise improves circulation in your legs and keeps the blood pumping. Staying active can also help you maintain a healthy weight, which may prevent weight-related vascular issues.

If you already have varicose veins, exercise may ease your symptoms. People with varicose veins often report that their legs feel swollen, itchy, or heavy. Regular exercise increases blood circulation and can help lessen these symptoms.
