Everyone knows just how intense Holiday planning can be, and for people experiencing food insecurity, it’s just that much more stressful.
That’s why this past Saturday, the District Behavioral Health team volunteered with Food Finders at their final Long Beach Community Market event for the year. We gathered at Admiral Kidd Park early in the morning to help distribute dairy, meat, produce, and non-perishables to support our local community. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to give back, and we look forward to doing even more in 2026 and beyond.
Time, energy, and compassion are gifts that should be given year-round. Organizations like Food Finders, which make it their mission to help lower food insecurity rates in Orange County and Long Beach, make it that much more possible.
