This is all new very new to me, not the dental field itself ~ as I have over 27 years in dental office management, administration, hygiene/treatment coordination and HR specifically in dental. (I am a CDA, CDR, CDTC) ~ but more so from the fact that I am a "transplant" of sorts looking to network with like minded individuals.
My wonderful American hubby "lured" me to the US from Canada where I have worked my whole dental/adult life. So, in essence I am "starting over," and would love to meet and converse with others in the area who love the dental field as much as I do.
I would love for this page to become a safe place for dental professionals in upstate NY to discuss matters that concern us. Your office looking for staff? Feel free to post it here for other members to help out. Need continuing education in dental? Post courses here as well. Anything we can do to help each other out would be great.
The good, the bad, the ugly of dental in our area ~ post it here. Thoughts or advice on working in Upstate NY? Post it here and let us know. Have questions about what it was like working in Canada in dental? Feel free to message me with your questions.
A friendly environment and sounding board ~ that is what I'm looking to create. Feel free to invite your friends to this page if they are in the dental field. If you see anything posted here that is rude/offensive/inappropriate please let me know right away so it can be addressed.
