Our caskets are purchased for the Schuylkill Haven Casket Company (Haven Line Industries) and our Vaults are Produced by the Ringtown Wilbert Vault Co. More and more people are choosing to Preplan their funeral service, and we are here to assist you with in sorting through the many options you have when you choose to preplan. Through effectively preplanning a funeral, you can protect assets and save money. One of the programs we most commonly use is the Loyal Christian Benefit Association (LCBA). Patricia A. Kania, 78, of Frackville, passed away April 2, 2026 at LVHN Schuylkill East, Pottsville.

Born in Fountain Springs, May 6, 1947, She was a daughter of the late William and Olga (Tenoschok) Feinauer.

She worked as a Machine Operator in plastics production.

She was a member of Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, Frackville.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years years George Kania; Daughter Vanessa Baker and her husband Robert of Bloomsburg.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday April 15, 2026 from Holy Ascension Orthodox Church, 209 South Lehigh Avenue Frackville. The Rev. Kirill Zawatski will be officiating. Friends may call from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday April 14, 2026 at Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc. 9 N. Lehigh Ave. Frackvillle, PA 17931. Burial will be in Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Frackville.

Dana Lynn Carr , 43, of, Girardville, passed away Sunday November 16, 2025 at LVHN-Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, July 10, 1982, She was a daughter of the late Georgine (Keen) Stelma.

She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School.

Dana worked as an Admission Coordinator for Schuylkill Center, Pottsville, and activities director at Broad Mountain Nursing & Rehab, Frackville

She was a member of Hope Community Church, Mt. Carmel; Dana was very active in Ashland black Diamond Football Boosters.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers Dorothy Moleski and Nellie McCabe.

Surviving are her husband 19 years Benjamin R. Carr; daughter Katelyn T. Carr of Shenandoah; son Benjamin M. Carr of Girardville; daughter Alexis S Carr of Girardville;, son Oliver M. Carr of Girardville; sister Arlene R. Krise and her husband Dean of Lavelle; brother Angelo M McCabe of Reading; sister Angela M McCabe of NC; Nieces Nephews Including Cory and Courtney, Relatives Friends, Dog Marley and Cats Smokey & Bandit.

A Memorial Celebration will be held at 6:00 PM Monday November 24, 2025 from Hope Community Church, 551 W. 4th St. Mt. Carmel, PA 17851 with Rev. Daniel Renno officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Monday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hope Community Church Memorial Fund at the above address. Michael J. Metchock, 71, of Cressona, formerly of Frackville and Mahanoy City passed away Saturday November 8, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Allentown.

Born in Pottsville, February 8, 1954, He was a son of the late Michael Metchock and Rosemarie (Spaniard) Metchock.

He attended North Schuylkill Schools and was a graduate of IU #29 Mar Lin

Michael worked at several area factories. He was a Lifetime member of Good Will Fire Co Frackville; Altamont Fire CO W. Mahanoy Twp.; Friendship Fire Company, Englewood; and Pennsylvania Fireman’s Association.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

Surviving are sister Janet Cavenas of Mahanoy City; Aunt Jean Chuposka; Nephew Anthony Cavenas; Niece Nicole Dresher; Cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM Thursday November 13, 2025 from Nice- Hart Funeral Home, Inc, 9 North Lehigh Avenue Frackville, PA 17931 with The Rev. William Glosser officiating. Friends may call from 8:30-10:30 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Goodwill Fire Co.,225 S. Balliet St. Frackville, PA 17931.
