The residents had an incredible time at our Western Whirl! 🤠🎶 From country tunes and delicious snacks to horseshoes, horse racing, and a hilarious round of “pin the tail on the cow,” the fun never stopped. Some residents even showed off their skills by lassoing a cow! What a rootin’ tootin’ good day! 🤎🐄

Salvatore joined us at Casa de Ramana for short-term rehabilitation after experiencing progressive right shoulder pain, along with a new diagnosis of mild inferior subluxation of the right humeral head and a moderate hematoma in the right subacromial bursa.

During his stay, he worked closely with our PT and OT teams to improve upper-extremity mobility and strength, reduce pain, and regain independence with daily activities, transfers, and mobility.

After three weeks of dedicated rehab, Sal successfully returned home and will continue his therapy in the community. We’re proud of his hard work and progress! 💪✨

Honoring Our Veterans at Casa de Ramana

Casa proudly celebrated and honored our Veterans with a heartfelt event filled with music, memories, and gratitude.

Residents enjoyed live patriotic music, cake, and refreshments as we reflected on their incredible service and sacrifices. Each Veteran received a certificate, pin, challenge coin, and patriotic cup — tokens of appreciation for their dedication and courage.

The most special part of the day was hearing their stories as they reminisced about their time in service. We are truly grateful to have these heroes among us.

Casa de Ramana Rehab at The Magic of Hope Gala!

We were proud to attend and sponsor The Magic of Hope Gala, supporting the APDA Massachusetts Chapter in their mission to bring awareness, research, and hope to those living with Parkinson’s Disease.

At Casa, our commitment to individuals with movement disorders extends through our GracefulMotion Program, a specialized therapy program designed to help those with Parkinson’s and related conditions regain strength, balance, and confidence.

It was an inspiring evening surrounded by dedicated advocates, caregivers, and professionals who share our passion for helping individuals live life to the fullest.

BreatheWell Success at Casa Rehab!

After being hospitalized with a bowel obstruction and lung complications, Maryann chose Casa de Ramana for short-term rehabilitation—and enrolled in our BreatheWell Pulmonary Program.

With the support of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, on-site respiratory therapy, and OmniFlow® breathing sessions, Maryann learned breathing strategies, built endurance, and regained her independence.

After just 3 weeks, she was weaned off supplemental oxygen and is now back home—breathing easier and stronger than before!

We’re so proud of her hard work and our team’s dedication.
