This was Marty’s second rehab stay at Casa de Ramana, and once again he worked hard with our BreatheWell team of Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Respiratory Therapists.

With therapies like OmniFlow® biofeedback, OmniVR® balance training, NuStep® endurance training, Boxing Rx, and even group activities like LUNGS Bingo and the Breathing Olympics, Marty regained strength, balance, and confidence.

In his words: “I found a high level of professionalism here, they all care about the health of their patients” … and when asked about therapy he added that OmniFlow® was one of the best parts of the program!

After three weeks, Marty returned home with his wife stronger, safer, and breathing easier.

Honoring and Supporting Our Veterans

This week, Casa Rehab, Saint Francis Rehab, and Saint Francis Adult Day Health proudly donated coats to Veterans Inc. as part of our ongoing commitment to those who have served our country.

Beyond this donation, our centers are privileged to hold Veterans contracts, providing post-acute rehabilitation and nursing care tailored to the unique needs of Veterans. At Saint Francis Adult Day Health, we also support Veterans in the community by offering clinical oversight, social engagement, and a safe, welcoming environment.
Caring for our Veterans is an honor—both inside our programs and through initiatives like this coat drive.

Traveling to Italy at Casa Rehab!

Our residents “took flight” for this month’s traveling activity and landed in Italy! They indulged in authentic Italian bakery favorites like tiramisu, rainbow cake, panettone, Italian biscuits, and rich Italian coffee.

From the airplane/elevator ride to the delicious treats, it was an immersive experience that had everyone smiling. Residents can’t wait to see where next month’s trip will take us!

Celebrating National Housekeeping Week with a Special Surprise!

This week, our incredible housekeeping team at Casa Rehab was treated to a well-deserved lunch out. While there, they had a wonderful surprise — Mayor Charlie Sisitsky of Framingham stopped by their table!

The Mayor shared that he had heard great things about Casa and wanted to congratulate Will, our Director of Housekeeping, and his team on their dedication and hard work.

We’re so proud of our housekeeping staff for the care, attention, and warmth they bring to our residents every single day. Thank you for all that you do!

Rock n’ Roll Party at Casa Rehab!

Our residents and staff were truly rockin’ and rollin’ as we turned up the tunes and brought the party to life! From star-shaped sandwiches and fizzy sodas to popcorn puffs, faux piercings, and temporary tattoos—everyone was in the spirit and having a blast.

It was a celebration full of music, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

When Paul “Mike” first came to Casa, his health challenges required long-term care and even hospice services. But with determination — and the support of our therapy teams — he made incredible progress.

Mike shared, “Time and exercise to get back on my feet.” And that’s precisely what he achieved. From relying on a wheelchair to walking with a rollator, and now back in the community with independence, Mike’s success highlights the positive outcomes Casa Rehab delivers for our patients.
