📢 📰 NEWS ALERT

On January 5, 2026, the Providers’ Council submitted testimony to the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) on the proposed rates for 101 CMR 417:00: Rates for Certain Elder Care Services.

The Council stressed that inadequate reimbursement rates for human services promote racial and gender inequity, as the sector’s workforce is 80 percent women and has a higher proportion of people of color (36 percent) compared to all other industries in the state.
