Each one can feel like a small moment of magic, but we’re curious which one says “good luck” to you:

Life insurance can do more than help protect your family after you’re gone. It can also help you take care of yourself while you’re still here. Accelerated death benefit (ADB) riders can allow you to take a portion of your death benefit early to help take care of yourself in the event of a fatal diagnosis.

Swipe for a complete overview of ADBs — what they are, how they work, who they’re for, and how they help.

Want help confirming whether your policy includes an ADB, or want to discuss if adding an ADB makes sense for you and your situation? Give us a call today, and we can help you review your current coverage and compare your options.

March is full of fascinating moments that pushed boundaries, broke barriers, and even left the solar system. Here are a few standout historical milestones we’re reflecting on this month:

🚀 March 2, 1972 - NASA launched “Pioneer 10,” the first spacecraft to travel beyond the asteroid belt and send back close-up images of Jupiter. It eventually became the first manmade object to leave the solar system.

🪥 March 14, 1833 - Lucy Hobbs, the first woman to become a licensed dentist in the U.S., was born. A true trailblazer, she used her platform to advocate for women’s rights and left a legacy that opened doors for future generations.

✏️ March 30, 1858 - H***n L. Lipman patented the first pencil with an attached eraser. Simple, yet revolutionary, this tiny invention changed how we learn, create, and take notes to this day.

Which of these moments inspires you the most? Let us know in the comments!

Ready to be surprised? Take a look at these 6 benefits most people don’t know are covered by Medicare:

🩹 Acupuncture: Under certain circumstances, you can visit an acupuncturist up to 12 times in 90 days. If you improve as a result, you could get 8 more visits.
🩹 Therapy: Medicare Part B covers medically necessary psychotherapy. The number of covered visits varies depending on your plan, so reach out if you would like us to check.
🩹 Opioid treatment programs: These comprehensive treatment programs include substance use counseling, individual and group therapy, and medication.
🩹 Ambulance transportation: If you’re being transported for medically necessary services, and if a different form of transportation would be medically dangerous, then your ride may be covered.
🩹 Weight loss counseling: Medicare Part B covers obesity behavioral counseling for patients with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or above.
🩹 Getting a second opinion before surgery: If a surgery is not an emergency, Medicare Part B will help you get a second (or even third) doctor’s opinion in some cases.
