First up, me!
I’m Heidi 💁🏽‍♀️ Nurse Practitioner & founder of Obsidian.

I’ve spent over 2 decades in medicine, mostly in critical care & trauma surgery, with more than half of that time as an NP. What started as a path in aesthetics turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined…a space rooted in science, but built on connection, trust, and truly caring for people. 🖤

I’m also a mom of three littles who are my whole world. Yes, my life is chaotic, but they are my why behind everything.

Outside of work, you’ll find me waiting for a sunrise, soaking up fresh air, loving anything outdoors, with a coffee in hand (always), good music playing, & ending the day with a bubble bath. 🌅 ☀️ 🎶 ☕️ 🛁

I believe deeply in human connection and in empowering men & women…not just to look their best, but to feel it. Because true confidence comes from both inside and out.

Being a business owner has stretched me in ways I could never have prepared for. There’s been learning, personal growth, also so many challenges, even heartache. Yet through all of it, one thing has never changed…my commitment to staying authentic, grounded, and true to who I am.

I don’t chase trends.
I believe in science, intention, and doing things the right way.

Obsidian isn’t just a med spa.

Our Obsidian Elite members…truly the heart of this space. The loyalty, the support, the trust you’ve poured into me and this business is something I will never take for granted.

When I started Obsidian, I could have never imagined building a community like this.🥹 We now have more Obsidian Elite members than I ever dreamed of, and instead of sitting in that…I want to keep making it better. I want you to feel how much you matter here. 🫶🏽

There’s something powerful about putting yourself in rooms where you don’t quite feel like you belong. The kind of rooms that stretch you. Challenge you. Make you question yourself, but in the best way. Because every time I’ve walked into a space feeling a little uncomfortable, I’ve walked out feeling inspired, grounded, and more driven than ever. 🔥

This weekend wasn’t just about business. It wasn’t just about aesthetics. It was about growth. Real, personal growth. It was about connection. True, human connection. Conversations that fill your cup. People who remind you of your strength when you forget it. The kind of relationships that shift your perspective & push you to think bigger.

Because the truth is, this business was never my original dream. It wasn’t the vision I had for my life. But somewhere along the way, it became the vehicle. The pathway. The thing that’s allowing me to build something so much bigger than an aesthetic business.

One thing about me, I will always choose learning. 🤓 I will always value education for my business, for my staff, but mostly for YOU because you can’t pour into others if you’re not constantly pouring into yourself.

Behind every treatment we offer is time spent training, refining, and investing energy & money so we can stay current, safe, and intentional in everything we do. I’ve never been one to chase industry trents. I choose what is proven, safe, & truly best for our patients.

I must graciously give some huge THANK YOU’s to: & .aestheticsmi for supporting yesterday!! To , the incredible trainer, who traveled to be with us yesterday…your knowledge and guidance was fantastic!! And to for hanging out with us and offering up your tips & tricks! It was just a great morning all around and we’re so grateful for all of you.
