I now get to add to my credentials Certified Aromatherapist. I ended my certification program with a research paper titles " Benefits of Essential oils in Labor and Delivery"

I AM OFFICIAL!!!!!!! I got the e-mail that my certification has been approved and I can now call myself a Certified Aromatherapist!!!

Something new I am doing. Birth Plan consult. One of the biggest mistakes I have seen in birth plans is the "print out and check box" plan. This is where you print a generic plan from the internet and hand it to your nurses while in labor. Here is the problem with this method, it shows no personal touch and lacks credibility to your preferences. It tells the staff you really don't know what your options are and what the outcome to your decisions could mean. These plans are usually disregard by hospital staff.

But a plan that is well laid out, respectful to the education of the medical team and easy to read is well received and respected by the nurses. Getting a birth plan approved by your Dr will help in the outcome of your labor process as well.
