CommonHealth Recovery would like to welcome Shelbi Watts, APRN, one of the newest hearts behind the care we provide. Shelbi describes working here as refreshing and meaningful, where a positive, professional team offers patient-centered, community-focused care, and everyone, staff and clients, feels genuinely valued. If she had to sum up CommonHealth in three words, she chose: Compassionate, Authentic, Empowering.

When Shelbi is not caring for people here, you can usually find her at the beach or playing in volleyball leagues, recharging so she can bring that same energy back to our clients. Her favorite part of CommonHealth is being part of a team that helps people feel seen, comfortable, and supported in treatment. We are grateful to have her on our team.

If you'd like to meet Shelbi and start your journey today, Call (502) 661-1444 or visit commonhealthky.com to get started with services.

As Recovery Month comes to a close, we celebrate the courage it takes to keep going, one day at a time. We honor the small wins that add up to big changes, the families and friends who stand beside their loved ones, and the professionals and peers who show up with compassion. We celebrate to reduce stigma, to remind our community that treatment works, and to say out loud that hope is real and help is available.

Recovery Month may end on the calendar, but recovery continues every day. If you are seeking recovery, returning after a setback, or supporting someone you love, CommonHealth Recovery is here with respectful, evidence-based care and a team that will meet you where you are.

Our Purpose

CommonHealth Kentucky exists to provide patient-centered healthcare with excellence in quality, service, and access. The state of Kentucky is a leading state in terms of substance abuse, overdose, addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. Due to the ruralness of the Kentucky landscape, lack of government stimulus funding, and void of available health care professionals, CommonHealth exists to patch these holes and provide excellent and available healthcare that is easily accessible, affordable, and driven by research. Because substance abuse and mental health have become a very common problem in Kentucky and the surrounding states, we are bringing CommonHealth care to fix a very common health problem; the disease of addiction, substance abuse, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
