Taylrd TAYLRD is a grant initiative that provides mental health resources for 16-25 year olds in Kentucky.

TAYLRD (Transition Age Youth Launching Realized Dreams) is an initiative for 16-25-year-olds in Kentucky. Drop-in centers in Taylorsville, Louisville, Ashland, and Morehead aim to provide safe and engaging spaces, staffed by young people with lived experience in systems called Youth Peer Support Specialists. Financially supported by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Healthy Transitions Initiative, TAYLRD aims to create youth-driven programs, including young people in every aspect of planning and implementation. TAYLRD is a grant awarded to the Kentucky Division of Behavioral Health to increase access to services for Kentucky's transition age youth (16-25 year olds) who have or are at risk of developing serious behavioral health challenges.
