For Valentine’s season, our Lantern residents got all dressed up for Sweetheart photos — and the results were beautiful. Our ladies felt pampered, confident, and truly special as they stepped in front of the camera.

It wasn’t just about the photos. It was about taking the time to help each resident feel seen, valued, and cherished. Moments like this are what make life at the Frankfort Lantern so meaningful. 💕

🎭❤️ This Valentine season was full of family fun and fellowship, and our Valentine Masquerade was truly a night to remember.

The room was beautifully decorated with elegant masks and romantic touches that set the perfect scene for dancing, photos, and laughter. Couples swayed to love songs, families made sweet memories together, and the chocolate fountain was such a hit that we ran out by the end of the night. 🍫✨

We were honored to enjoy live entertainment from Ron Cheak, 2024 Morning Pointe Seniors Got Talent winner, who filled the evening with music and joy. Our kitchen team also wowed everyone with a delicious Tuscan chicken dinner served with roasted potatoes and carrots.

It was a beautiful evening full of love, celebration, and moments we won’t soon forget. 💕

🍽️💐 As we close out Food Service Week, we’re proud to recognize Stephanie Peyton, our incredible Food Service Director here at The Lantern at Morning Pointe of Frankfort.

Stephanie has been a dedicated associate of Morning Pointe for 12 years, and her passion for her craft shines through every single day. For her, food service is about so much more than preparing meals — it’s about comfort, smiles, and familiarity. She creates dishes that remind residents of home, favorite restaurants, and even special meals from childhood.

Beyond the kitchen, Stephanie builds real camaraderie with residents and families and helps create meaningful connections through food. She also plays a key role in our A Year of Flavor Morning Pointe in Motion theme, partnering with our Life Enrichment team to host cooking demonstrations, Cooking Club, and hands-on experiences where residents get to create food of their own. Through it all, she brings joy, confidence, and a true sense of home to our community.

We appreciate you so much, Stephanie, for the heart, time, and care you pour into making food service so special at the Frankfort Lantern. We love you and are deeply grateful for everything you do. 💛🍽️

Danny spends his time with residents jumping into daily activities like crafts, games, Cooking Club, and whatever else residents want or need in the moment. He brings such a bright, positive energy into our community, and we’re so grateful to have him as part of our team.

Danny helped one of our residents sort through jewelry while admiring all the beautiful gems together. 💎 Moments like these truly show the kindness, patience, and genuine connection he shares with our residents.
