🧡🙏 Honoring Our Local Heroes
Our residents spent the afternoon creating heartfelt thank-you cards for our local first responders. They poured so much love into each note, wanting to honor the firefighters, EMTs, EMS teams, and law enforcement officers who keep our community safe every single day. ✨🚓🚒

First responders truly are the backbone of our society, and we’re grateful for their courage and compassion.
The Frankfort Lantern residents will soon be taking a special trip to deliver these cards in person — a meaningful way to show appreciation and remind our heroes just how much they’re valued. 💛

Family nights always bring out the brightest smiles, and Anne’s joy lit up the whole room. 💛 She loves these gatherings where she can enjoy a good meal, good company, and the comfort of having her family close. Her happiness was contagious all evening.

And Margaret’s heart was just as full — her grandson Layne never misses a chance to stop by and connect with not only his nana, but so many of our residents. His kindness, warmth, and genuine friendships mean the world to her. Moments like these are such a beautiful reminder of the power of family and the bonds that grow inside our community. 🧡

🌈🍽️ Good food, great company, and a little unexpected magic!

Our residents had the best time at their Cracker Barrel Old Country Store outing— sharing laughs, enjoying their favorite dishes, and spending meaningful time together. (And yes… quite a few ordered steak with ALL the fixings! 😄🥩)

What made the day even sweeter? No matter which way we turned the camera, a rainbow appeared in every photo. It felt like the joy of the moment shining right back at us — a perfect reminder of how special these experiences truly are. 💛✨

Outings like this are more than a meal… they’re a chance for connection, enrichment, and memories our residents carry with them long after we’re back home.

🇺🇸❤️ This week, our Frankfort Lantern community came together to honor the incredible veterans who call Morning Pointe home — Ray Neely, John Long, Charlie Dawkins, Francis, Ben, Jim, and Paul Polly. Each of them carries a story of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to our country, and celebrating them filled our community with gratitude and pride.

The Marine Corps League joined us for a moving ceremony that included certificates of appreciation, patriotic music, and each branch’s hymn. Watching our residents stand tall during their song — hands over hearts and voices strong — was a moment our staff won’t forget. It was a beautiful reminder of what service, unity, and honor truly mean. ❤️🤍💙
