Today we enjoyed another wonderful Thanksgiving meal surrounded by the people who make this place feel special. We’re grateful for our delicious dinner, the friends and coworkers we get to share it with, and the incredible community that supports us.

A big thank-you to our Dietary & Activity team for the amazing food and to all the staff who helped make the day smooth, joyful, and full of connection.

There’s still time to help us spread a little extra joy this holiday season! Our Toys for Tots toy drive is going strong, and we’re so grateful for the kindness our Maples family has already shown. ❤️

Just a quick reminder that our collection ends on December 1st — and we’re adding something special for this final weekend!

✨ For every toy donated 11/28 through 11/30:
• You’ll receive a Buy One, Get One lift ticket to Crystal Mountain ⛷️❄️
• Your name will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card 🎉

If you’d like to donate a new, unwrapped toy, simply drop it off in our front lobby. Every single gift truly makes a difference for a child right here in our community.

🔥 Congratulations, Tracy! 🔥

Please help us give a HUGE shoutout to Tracy Cooper for taking home 1st place in our Annual Maples Chili Cook-Off! 🌶️🏆 Her recipe had just the right blend of warmth, spice, and love — and it clearly won over every taste tester in the room.

And we can’t forget our amazing runner-up, Shelley Clark, whose chili brought some serious flavor to the competition! 🌟 Shelley kept things deliciously close, and we’re so grateful for the fun and friendly spirit she brings to everything she does.

🍎 New Monthly Activity Alert! 👩‍🍳🍰

Today we launched something special here at The Maples — Cooking with Chef Tristan — and it was an absolute hit!

Chef Tristan spent the afternoon teaching our residents how to make a warm, cozy apple crumble cake, the perfect fall classic. The kitchen smelled amazing, the laughter was flowing, and everyone loved getting hands-on with such a comforting recipe.

And of course… the best part was getting to eat Chef Tristan’s delicious masterpiece! 😋✨

We’re so excited to make this a monthly tradition and can’t wait to see what delicious creations come next. ❤️
