Sometimes life feels fast, overwhelming, or out of control. For today’s Thursday with a Therapist, we’re practicing a 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise. Using our senses—sight, touch, hearing, smell, and taste—we can slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and give ourselves a mini reset.

Take a few minutes today to try it for yourself—you deserve it.

🍂 Wellness Wednesday 🍂
The holiday season can be joyful — but it can also feel heavy, especially when seasonal depression settles in. If you’ve been feeling low, tired, or disconnected… you are not alone, and your feelings are valid. 💛

This season, give yourself permission to:
✨ slow down
✨ set boundaries
✨ care for your mind & body
✨ reach out for support

Small steps count. Healing doesn’t have to be perfect — it just has to start.

Let this be your reminder:
Rest is productive. Your well-being matters. You matter. ‼️

11/13/2025

You don’t have to wait until everything feels heavy to reach out for help. Therapy isn’t just for crisis — it’s for growth, maintenance, and peace of mind. 🌱

If you’ve been telling yourself “it’s not that bad yet,” this is your gentle reminder: you deserve support before you hit your breaking point.

🩵 Take care of yourself early. You’re worth it.

Wellness Wednesday 🧠💙
This month, we’re shining a light on Men’s Mental Health Awareness.
Let’s remind the men in our lives — it’s okay to open up, seek help, and prioritize self-care.
Your mental health matters just as much as your physical health.

✨ Tips for wellness:
• Reach out to friends or family
• Talk to a professional
• Get enough rest
• Journal or express your feelings
• Challenge negative thoughts
• Join a support group

Let’s break the stigma, one conversation at a time.

Community is healing. 💛
Today we’re spending time at Rickover Junior High School’s Community Fair — connecting, listening, and reminding ourselves that wellness doesn’t just happen in therapy rooms. It starts with showing up for one another.

Wellness Wednesday 💙
November is Men’s Mental Health Month, a time to check in, speak up, and show up for the men in our lives. 💬

Let’s break the stigma — men deserve safe spaces to talk about their feelings, ask for help, and prioritize self-care too.

✨ Ways to support men:
• Encourage open conversations
• Listen without judgment
• Offer help and support
• Promote self-care and wellness

Because strong doesn’t mean silent. 💪
