🔥 Shoulder Aggravated? Warm It Up Smarter 🔥

If your shoulder is irritated, the warmup isn’t optional — it’s critical. But it has to be intentional, not aggressive.

💡 Focus on this:
• Increase blood flow without flaring symptoms
• Create stability before mobility
• Move in controlled, pain-free ranges only

🚫 Avoid early:
• Forcing range of motion
• Stretching into pain
• Jumping straight into heavy or fast movements

🎯 Goal:
Feel looser, more stable, and more in control — not more irritated.

Currently, I am dealing with a bit of a ‘flare-up’ myself. These are some of my favorite shoulder exercises that I have been doing before working out! Give them a try.

· What is TPI
TPI Titleist Performance Institute – leading education organization dedicated to studying how the body functions in relation to the golf swing.
Through the TPI screen we can determine how technical elements of the swing could be related to what our bodies can and cannot do.

Pre-workout nutrition: Want better workouts? What you eat before training matters more than you think.

Many people either:
Skip eating completely, which leads to low energy, or
Eat high-fat or heavy meals, which slow digestion and make workouts feel sluggish.

This often causes:
Early fatigue
Poor performance
Lightheadedness
Reduced strength or endurance

The Solution:

1️⃣ Carbohydrates (Primary fuel)- Carbs provide quick energy for muscles.

Examples: Banana, Oatmeal, Rice cakes, Toast, Fruit

2️⃣ Protein (Supports muscle performance)
Protein helps with muscle repair and recovery.

Examples: Greek yogurt, Eggs, Protein shake, Cottage cheese

3️⃣ Keep fats low
High-fat foods digest slowly and can make workouts feel heavy.

Foods to limit before workouts: Fried foods, Heavy cheese meals, Large amounts of peanut butter

Timing

⏱ 2–3 hours before training:
Full meal with carbs + protein.

Example:
Chicken + rice + vegetables

⏱ 30–60 minutes before training:
Small snack.

Example:

Most golfers focus on swing mechanics, but the foundation of a powerful swing actually starts with the hip and spine. Without proper hip and spinal mobility, the body can’t rotate or generate power efficiently.

In this workshop, learn different ELDOA techniques and exercises developed by Dr. Guy VOYER that create space in the hips and spine improving rotation, posture, and movement efficiency in the golf swing.
