Mindful Movement Therapy

Mindful Movement Therapy Specializing in the treatment of eating disorders. Offering individual & family therapy. However, you have found me, I am excited to start this journey together!

Mindful + Movement
Being in the presence of your life means being conscious - being aware of your thoughts, emotions, choices, and body sensations - but in an intentional, present kind of way. It means choosing your path mindfully and knowing that healing is not linear. It’s having an awareness that any conscious movement no matter how small, it is movement bringing you closer to transmuting what no longer serves you. It’s the micromovements that allow us to move more comfortably through the healing journey and I am here to help you gracefully do this with empathy, compassion, and a knowing that alignment between body, mind, and soul helps us to become our most authentic self. As a clinical therapist, I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, athletes with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, women's health, and grief. At Mindful Movement, I offer individual and family sessions tailoring treatment to the unique needs of the client & family. In addition to the clinical practices at Mindful Movement, I also offer Life Coaching and Reiki sessions to those clients interested and can learn more on my website. The somatic approach to working with my clients energizes me most and so, if you are someone wanting to explore the mind + body + soul connection, we may be a good fit to working together. Along with my passion to working with clients, I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist - Consultant who is passionate about supervising, consulting, and educating other therapists, medical offices, and/or other allied health professionals about eating disorders.

In recovery, it’s common to look back with self-judgment — wishing you had known sooner, chosen differently, or healed faster. But the ways we cope are often shaped by what we needed to survive at the time.
Healing begins when we meet ourselves with compassion instead of blame. You learned what you could, when you could. Recovery isn’t about erasing the past — it’s about honoring what it taught you and continuing forward with patience and care.
If this speaks to you, let it be a reminder: forgiveness is part of the healing process. 🤍

When Is an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach Helpful? 🤍

Recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all—and sometimes, extra support can make all the difference.

An eating disorder recovery coach can be especially helpful when:

✨ You’re medically stable but struggling with day-to-day recovery

✨ You need accountability between therapy or dietitian sessions

✨ Meal times feel overwhelming and you need real-time support

✨ You’re working on challenging behaviors, thoughts, or routines

✨ You want guidance applying treatment tools to real life

✨ You’re transitioning out of higher levels of care

✨ You feel stuck, discouraged, or alone in recovery

A recovery coach does not replace a therapist, dietitian, or medical provider. They do walk alongside you, helping you practice recovery in real life, one step at a time.

If you are looking for more support for yourself, your child, or client, please consider adding Taylor Greibe to your care team.

🌿 Meet Our New Team Member at Mindful Movement 🌿

We are so excited to welcome Taylor Greibe to the Mindful Movement team! Taylor has officially joined us and is already seeing clients, offering recovery coaching services with deep compassion, presence, and care.

Taylor is a Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Coach who brings together professional training and personal lived experience. Having fully recovered herself, she understands the fears, hopes, and daily challenges that come with eating disorder recovery, and she brings that empathy into every connection she makes.

Taylor is deeply passionate about:
• Supporting clients in their recovery journey
• Walking alongside families and caregivers
• Building recovery coaching groups that foster connection and support

Her approach is gentle, relational, and grounded in helping clients reconnect with themselves and rebuild trust in their bodies. Working collaboratively with therapists, Taylor helps bridge the gap between insight gained in therapy and the realities of day-to-day recovery. Her lived-experience perspective complements clinical care and provides a steady, compassionate presence during vulnerable moments.

✨ If you are a client, parent, caregiver, colleague, or program looking for services to strengthen your own recovery, your child’s recovery, or the care you provide to clients, we invite you to reach out and learn more about working with Taylor through Mindful Movement. Taylor is currently accepting new clients and offers both in-person and virtual services.

As we close out this year, I want to pause and express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of the Mindful Movement community. 💛

To my clients and families ~thank you for your trust, vulnerability, courage, and willingness to show up for yourselves, even on the hard days. It is an honor to walk alongside you in your healing, growth, and self-discovery.

To my colleagues, collaborators, and referral partners ~ thank you for your support, wisdom, and shared commitment to compassionate, ethical care. The work we do together truly strengthens our community and the people we serve.

This year brought meaningful growth, powerful lessons, challenges that stretched us, and moments of deep connection and success. Each experience has shaped Mindful Movement into what it continues to become; a space rooted in care, collaboration, and healing.

As we move into the new year, I’m filled with gratitude and hope for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of this journey. ✨

With appreciation,
Heidi

❄️Welcoming the Final Month of the Year ❄️

As we step into the last month of the year, take a moment to pause. Breathe. Notice what this season brings up for you: relief, overwhelm, gratitude, grief, hope… or all of the above. December often invites us into reflection, not as a demand to “fix” ourselves, but as a gentle opportunity to check in with our inner landscape.

Before the rush toward resolutions or reinvention, consider this:

You don’t need to become a new person in the new year. You’re allowed to simply continue becoming yourself.

So ask yourself with honesty and compassion:

✨What remains on your 2025 heart that still needs healing?

✨What wounds are quietly asking for attention instead of avoidance?

✨What relationships, including the one with yourself, feel ready for repair or softening?

✨ What parts of you are longing for rest, closure, or clarity before you turn the page?

Your intentions for the new year don’t have to be grand. They can be soft, steady, and deeply personal. Maybe your intention is to learn to say “no” without guilt. Maybe it’s to rebuild trust in yourself. To reconnect with joy. To grieve something you’ve been holding alone. To allow love back in. To practice gentleness.

This month, may you find room to honor both what you’ve survived and what you’re still stepping toward. Healing isn’t rushed. Growth isn’t linear. And you are allowed to move into the new year at your own pace.💖

🌟 Day 3 of Brainspotting Training: Feeling Grateful and Empowered 🌟

Healing truly begins with the therapist. Before we can guide our clients on their healing journey, we must first heal and ground ourselves. These past few days of Brainspotting training have been nothing short of transformative. I’ve learned, practiced, and integrated so much already, and I can already feel the shifts within myself.

The power of this work is undeniable, and I’m so excited to bring this “home” to my practice. Ready to help others heal in even deeper ways.💫

The journey continues, and I can’t wait to see where this path leads!

🌿 When life feels heavy, nature has a way of calling us back home.

In moments of stress, overwhelm, or disconnection, stepping outside—even for a few minutes—can shift our entire nervous system. Grounding your feet to the earth, feeling the warmth of the sun, or simply noticing the breeze on your skin invites your body back into safety and presence.

✨ Sunlight regulates our mood and restores our internal rhythms.
✨ Earth energy anchors us when our minds feel scattered.
✨ Quiet spaces away from routine help reset our nervous system.
✨ Beauty in nature reminds us that growth, change, and rest all have a place.

When we intentionally unplug and reconnect with the world around us, we make space to recharge, rebuild, and return to ourselves.

If you haven’t today, take a moment—step outside, breathe deeply, notice something beautiful, and let nature support your healing. 💛
