Some Burdens Are Invisible.

At The Refuge Center, there is a safe place to unpack those struggles and leave them at our door. With one of our 76 trusted counselors, someone can let go of what has been holding them back, weighing them down, and counting them out.

Your gift is the difference between someone carrying their pain alone… and finally getting help. When you give, you help someone release their pain and .

Our year-end goal is $350,000. With your help, reaching that would provide 7,000 counseling sessions!

We’re honored to share that our building project has received a major industry award 🏆

Our builder, , was recognized in the Special Projects category ($10M–$100M) for their work on our new, permanent home.

This building was designed to be more than bricks and mortar—it was envisioned as a place of hope, healing, and restoration. From navigating a challenging site and nonprofit budget to creating a warm, home-like space that prioritizes confidentiality and safety, Solomon Builders brought excellence, creativity, and a desire to partner with us to create change in our community.

We are deeply grateful for a team that believed in our mission and helped create a space where healing can continue for generations to come.

Every month more than 2,200 people walk through our doors carrying burdens they can barely lift. Shame. Trauma. Guilt. Fear. Loneliness. Anxiety. So many more.

How can you help? When someone gives $50, it means a session with one of our 76 excellent counselors, to equip them with the tools, resources, and courage to lay down their burdens…and travel light.

We have a bold goal this year…$350k by the end of the year. The good news is we have less than $73k left to raise. Will you help us close the gap this season?
