Trauma doesn’t check your calendar before it shows up. Healing doesn’t either.
It takes time, and it looks different for everyone. If you’re carrying trauma, grief, loss, or anything that feels too heavy to hold, please know — it’s okay to not be okay.

Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging

Mental health is far too often overlooked in the disability, aging, and caretaker spaces. We're grateful for the meaningful conversations we're having with community partners to address this need. This week, we had such an insightful discussion with The Refuge Center for Counseling. We're looking forward to continuing this kind of work to make sure mental health is valued and addressed with the people we serve!
