Our Story

The Gifting Tree is Johnson Memorial Healthโ€™s gift shop. Funds raised through gift shop sales benefit the Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild. The Guild is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1948, and raises its own funds to support projects to benefit Johnson Memorial Health and our community.

Through The Gifting Tree sales and many additional fundraising efforts throughout the year, the JMH Guild extends gifts to our community including: Six $1,000 scholarships to individuals pursuing health careers, clothing for patients following health emergencies, stuffed animals for children having surgery and visiting the emergency room, books for the Baby Talk early childhood literacy program, canteen rental at Johnson Memorial for guests and employees, patient comfort items, and recognition efforts for JMH's invaluable volunteers!
