These posts are for me just as much as they are for you. This year there will be three members of my family at the table. I grew up with huge family Thanksgivings with 30 people. Three people at Thanksgiving was cause for crying in the bathroom. I snapped out of it. Now reconfiguring Thanksgiving to be a something totally different this year.

I actually talked my family, even, my childhood who hates Thanksgiving is willing to go out to steakhouse in two week for a family dinner. We’re gonna call that Thanksgiving. This Thursday we’re gonna have a simple Thanksgiving meal and then watch a terminator movie marathon mango for a hike. I might crash one of my friend’s houses for dessert.

Happy birthday, beautiful girl. The only limitations on you are the ones you put on yourself and the ones you’ve inherited from your scaredy-cat mom.

For the record, yes, her mom can be a bitchy over emotional hypocrite. It’s easy to support and cheer on the rest of the world, but it’s hard to let your child be who they are. Especially when they are a sensitive loud mouth, rainbow gothic, fierce sparkly tender hearted boss bitch hurricane.

I am so proud of my daughter. I love her so much. I wish that she would love herself as much as her dad and I love her.
