“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about.” — Wendy Mass

Today on , let’s pause and remember: everyone is carrying their own battles, often unseen. A little kindness can go a long way in lifting someone’s spirit.

Be the reason someone feels valued and supported today, your kindness could be the reminder they need that they’re not alone. 💛

November is here, and with it comes a chance to slow down and take stock of what we’re thankful for. In recovery, gratitude isn’t just a feeling, it’s a practice that keeps us grounded, hopeful, and connected to what matters most.

Maybe it’s the people who’ve stood by you, the small victories that remind you how far you’ve come, or simply waking up with a new chance to grow. Whatever it looks like for you, take a moment today to notice it.

This National Gratitude Month, we’re focusing on the simple truth that recovery and gratitude go hand in hand. When we lead with thankfulness, healing follows.

🧡 What’s one thing you’re grateful for today? Drop it in the comments, we’d love to hear it.

Our Summit BHC Employee Engagement Committee hosted a Boo Brunch and Halloween Celebration today!

This year’s theme was TV & Movies: Fictional Characters, and our departments brought their creativity to life.

The day kicked off with a delicious Boo Brunch, followed by trick-or-treating through departments, and ended with our exciting Costume Runway & Awards celebration.

We loved seeing everyone’s creativity, energy, and team spirit on display. Events like these remind us how special it is to come together, celebrate, and show appreciation for all the amazing work our teams do every day. 💙

Depression is more common than many realize, and it often hides behind a smile. Even the smallest check-in can remind someone they are valued and not alone.

This , take a moment to send a supportive message to a friend or loved one who may be struggling. A few kind words can bring comfort on a hard day, and might mean more than you’ll ever know.

Remember: You don’t need the perfect words. What matters most is letting them know you care.

According to the International Association for Su***de Prevention, someone in the world dies by su***de every 40 seconds. Too often, it’s because the warning signs weren’t recognized early enough. This blog shares key red flags to watch for and ways you can support a loved one in crisis.

https://eagleviewbh.com/su***de-prevention-101-warning-signs-everyone-should-know/

How to help:
💛 Don’t be afraid to start the conversation. Ask gently but directly: “Are you thinking about hurting yourself?” Talking about su***de does not cause it—it opens the door to support.

💛 Listen with empathy. You don’t need to fix everything. Just be there. Say, “You’re not alone. I care about you.”

💛 Avoid downplaying the situation. Comments like “just cheer up” or “others have it worse” shut down the chance to connect. Acknowledge their pain instead.

💛 Help them connect with care. Offer to call a therapist with them, drive them to an appointment, or find a local support group together.

Over 700,000 lives are lost each year to su***de, many of which might have been prevented if the warning signs had been recognized early.
