What made you interested in physical therapy or the healthcare field?
I started at Amber Hill while I was still in high school. My mom was in PT after ACL reconstruction, and I began as an intern. I was quickly hired as a tech and have worked as a tech, lead tech, admin/billing, and now Marketing Director. I’ve really grown up with the company.

What is your title at Amber Hill?
Marketing Director

What is one fun or unique thing about you that we would not guess?
I love DIY and craft projects, especially sewing, quilting, and creating custom gifts for family and friends.

When not at work, what do you like doing for fun?
Spending time with my boyfriend and our son, Logan. We love fishing, camping, disc golf, and doing anything outdoors together.

If you could shadow any healthcare job for the day, what would it be?
A NICU nurse. I had an internship with a pediatric PT and got to experience therapy with NICU babies, and it was incredibly fulfilling.

Our Story

At Amber Hill Physical Therapy, “patients come first” is more than a slogan. We are fully committed to providing quality care for our patients delivered in a comfortable and private setting. Patients of all ages receive individual attention and care from our highly skilled therapists and staff in a team-like atmosphere.

AHPT is a physical therapist and majority women-owned private practice with convenient locations throughout Frederick and Montgomery counties. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Kathleen Kober, Dr. Kelly Reichenbaugh, Jessica Reed, MBA and Dr. Donald Novak. Donald Novak has owned and operated the practice since 2000 with Kathleen, Kelly and Jessica joining the ownership team in 2015.

Our experienced therapists are all members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association. A number of our therapists also belong to the Oncology, Neurology and/or Orthopedic sections of the APTA.

Our staff of therapists includes experienced and licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants who work together to provide the caring, personalized services that characterize Amber Hill.
