Dr. Hegazi is the co-founder and director of FOHA which is now Maryland Oncology Hematology in Frederick and Mt. Airy. He graduated with high honors from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Hegazi completed an internal medicine residency at Atlantic City Medical Center and a medical oncology fellowship at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hegazi, who is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, has been practicing cancer medicine in Frederick since 1997.

Dr. Taimur has been part of Frederick's medical community since 2008 and is an active member of the hospital breast cancer program and tumor board. She is involved in integrative oncology and working on developing a comprehensive and compassionate approach to cancer care. Her special interest is breast and female reproductive cancers.

CORONAVIRUS ALERT: The health and safety of our MOH patients, providers and staff is our top priority. In an effort to protect the well-being of our community and prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are updating our following pre-screening and access measures.

Anyone that has a temperature above 100.0 oF (37.8 oC) or upper respiratory symptoms will be assessed and may not be allowed in the clinic.

Only non-ambulatory (i.e. wheelchair) patients are allowed to have caregivers accompany them in the clinic if they have no upper respiratory symptoms.

Upper respiratory symptoms include: a cough, fever, nasal congestion, runny nose or sore throat.

No other visitors are allowed in the clinic.

We recognize that these measures may cause concern. Please contact our office and ask to speak to a manager to discuss any special circumstances.

In an effort to protect the wellbeing of our community, we have made a decision to implement caregiver and visitor limitations at all MOH practices that include:

No Visitors are allowed in the practice

Children age 15 or younger are not allowed in the practice
until further notice
