🧡 Setting Boundaries With Family This Thanksgiving

The holidays can be meaningful… and overwhelming. If you’re navigating big personalities, old patterns, or emotional landmines, here are a few gentle reminders:

✨ Decide your limits ahead of time.
What conversations, behaviors, or responsibilities feel okay for you — and what don’t?

✨ Use clear, calm language.
Simple is powerful: “I’m not discussing that today.” or “I need a quick break.”

✨ Honor your emotional cues.
If your body says it’s time to step away, listen. Regulation is care.

✨ You don’t have to justify your boundaries.
A boundary is a statement of what you need to feel safe and grounded — not an invitation for debate.

✨ Create a plan for support.
Text a friend, take a walk, or step outside for a breath. Build in moments to reset.

✨ Remember: you’re allowed to enjoy the day on your terms.
Your peace matters, even around family.
