Family Chiropractic Center

Family Chiropractic Center With over 30 years of experience Dr. Robert Staley has been treating family members from infants to His treatments work two ways.

Dr. Staley has great success with low back, mid-back, and neck pain. Headaches including migraine, sinus, hormonal, tension, and cluster, respond well by decreasing the pain, frequency and duration. Patients will see improvement of numbness and tingling in the arm hands legs and feet including sciatica, carpal tunnel and "pinched" nerves of the neck and back. First, aligning all joints improves function and performance, strength, endurance and coordination which is important to athletes and non-athletes alike. Secondly, aligning the spine improves nerve function that improves performance of all organs, energy, and health. Balancing the body's systems allows for the patient to heal themselves from within. That's why you hear of improved sleep, heart and lung function, better digestion, improved immune response to colds and flu, decreased reactions to allergens, decreased blood pressure, and reducing middle ear infections. The Webster turning technique for breach babies has been a great help for many expectant moms. This is in addition to treating newborns, toddlers, children and teenagers using gentle corrections to help them through any health problems as well as the day to day growing pains. Using only his hands, Dr Staley provides specific chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue techniques to get patients through pain relief phase and into the corrective phase. During the corrective phase he introduces effective stretches while continuing care. Finally, to stabilize the affected areas Dr. Staley provides simple custom "stretchercises" specific to the needs of the patient. Dr. Staley graduated from the National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences) with additional studies in anatomy, sports injuries, and extremity adjusting including shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers, hips, knees, ankles, feet, toes, ribs and jaw. As chairman of the Sports Injury Council for two years, he met and learned from many doctors who were leaders in the area of sports injuries. He has been a team doctor for cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, (all events), baseball, boys and girls basketball, soccer, field hockey, and highland games.
