🦓 Back pain and sciatica aren’t the same- here’s how they differ:

-Back pain often stays localized in the lower or upper back

-Sciatica usually travels from the low back into the leg

-Sciatic pain may feel sharp, burning, or tingling

-Treatment depends on the cause and symptoms

A proper evaluation helps determine the right plan for relief.

Struggling with tight muscles, lingering tension, or pain that just keeps coming back? Dry needling may be the game-changer you’ve been looking for.

At Amber Hill Therapy Centers, our trained clinicians use dry needling to target trigger points - those painful ā€œknotsā€ deep in the muscle that often limit movement and cause discomfort. When a very thin, sterile needle is inserted into these areas, it helps:

-Release deep muscle tension
-Improve blood flow to the painful area
-Reset irritated nerves
-Restore mobility and function
-Accelerate healing

Pain isn’t always caused by the spot where you feel it, and that’s exactly why a skilled physical therapist looks deeper than symptoms alone. At Amber Hill Therapy Centers, our team takes a whole-body approach to uncover what’s really behind your discomfort.

Once we understand the true source of your pain, we design a personalized plan that treats the cause, not just the symptoms, so you can finally feel lasting relief. šŸ’™

🐾 Please help us welcome Bonnie!

We are so excited to introduce Bonnie, our newest (and fluffiest) team member 🐶
Bonnie is a 6 year old Poodle and a certified therapy dog who will be joining our new occupational therapist, Francine, in sessions.

Bonnie is calm, friendly, and loves helping make therapy a positive and welcoming experience. Therapy dogs can support emotional regulation, increase engagement, and help clients feel more comfortable during their OT appointments.

We cannot wait for our patients to meet Bonnie and see the joy she brings to therapy days šŸ’›

Arthritis doesn’t just affect your joints, it can affect your entire lifestyle. Stiff knees in the morning, sore hands while cooking, or hip pain after a short walk can make even simple activities feel difficult.

At Amber Hill Therapy Centers, we focus on improving how you move, strengthening the muscles around your joints, and helping you stay active in ways that feel good for your body.

How Physical Therapy Helps Arthritis:

Improves Joint Mobility: Gentle, guided movement helps lubricate joints and reduce stiffness.

Builds Muscle Support: Stronger muscles mean less pressure on your painful joints.

Reduces Swelling & Irritation: Controlled exercises and hands-on care decrease inflammation.
