🌟 Employee Spotlight: Aeriana Carter 🌟

Aeriana first became interested in physical therapy after exploring it as a possible career path while attending the Career Center — and her curiosity has only grown since! She’s excited to keep learning more ASL and dive deeper into how PT helps patients through difficult surgical recoveries.

Outside of work, Aeriana keeps busy with EMT classes, unified sports, and softball. You’ll also find her showing goats, chickens, and even flipping turkeys at the Great Frederick Fair! 🐐🐓🦃

Her go-to order? A Coffee Chiller with vanilla from Dunkin (and definitely no matcha or eggplant 😆).
We’re so glad to have Aeriana as part of the Amber Hill team! 💙💪

🌟 Employee Spotlight: William Owens, Lead Tech – New Market 🌟

William first became interested in physical therapy when he was 16 after a football injury left him in treatment for several months. That experience sparked his passion for helping others recover and get back to doing what they love.

He’s excited to learn sign language to communicate better with hearing-impaired patients and enjoys hitting the gym, catching up on sleep, and indulging in his favorite food — a bacon cheeseburger (from anywhere!) — and a caramel frappe from McDonald’s.

Fun fact: William used to be quiet and shy until his freshman year of high school!

We’re lucky to have William as part of our New Market team — thank you for everything you do for our patients! 💙💪

Our Story

At Amber Hill Physical Therapy, “patients come first” is more than a slogan. We are fully committed to providing quality care for our patients delivered in a comfortable and private setting. Patients of all ages receive individual attention and care from our highly skilled therapists and staff in a team-like atmosphere.

AHPT is a physical therapist and majority women-owned private practice with convenient locations throughout Frederick and Montgomery counties. The practice is owned and operated by Dr. Kathleen Kober, Dr. Kelly Reichenbaugh, Jessica Reed, MBA and Dr. Donald Novak. Donald Novak has owned and operated the practice since 2000 with Kathleen, Kelly and Jessica joining the ownership team in 2015.

Our experienced therapists are all members of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association. A number of our therapists also belong to the Oncology, Neurology and/or Orthopedic sections of the APTA.

Our staff of therapists includes experienced and licensed Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants who work together to provide the caring, personalized services that characterize Amber Hill.
