❄️ Snow days are the perfect time to slow down and say hello. ❄️

If you’re new here, welcome to Andrea’s House.

We’re a faith-based transitional living program supporting women and their children as they heal from substance use disorders and trauma. Our mission is simple but powerful: to provide a safe, nurturing environment where families can grow, rebuild, and move toward long-term sobriety and stability - together.
Whether you’re curled up at home today or just discovering our work, we’re grateful you’re here. 💛

Saving lives, one mother at a time.

Today marks an exciting step forward for Andrea’s House as we begin the early work on expanding our home to create the Building Bridges Childcare Center.

This expansion is about removing barriers for the families we serve. Safe, on-site childcare means moms can focus on recovery, employment, education, and healing while knowing their children are cared for in a loving, stable environment.

Building Bridges is more than a childcare center. It’s a commitment to keeping families together, strengthening bonds, and creating real pathways forward.

Meeting with other nonprofits is something special. When missions align and the work truly moves the needle for families, the impact goes so much further. We are grateful to sit at the table with partners who care deeply about strengthening homes, restoring hope, and building lasting change for the families we serve at Andrea’s House.

Today, our team came together for a strategic planning meeting grounded in reflection, purpose, and vision for the future of Andrea’s House.

As we planned what’s ahead, we were reminded of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s belief that progress happens when intention meets action. His legacy calls us not only to dream, but to build systems rooted in dignity, opportunity, and care for one another.

A beautiful milestone worth celebrating 🤍

Yesterday, Lisa, one of our residents at Andrea’s House, took a powerful step in her journey by getting baptized.

This moment represents faith, healing, and the courage to embrace new beginnings. We are so proud of Lisa and honored to walk alongside her as she continues building a life rooted in hope, purpose, and renewal.

Please join us in celebrating this incredible step forward. ✨

Andrea’s House was honored to be in the room with so many powerful leaders, change-makers, and community champions who continue to carry forward Dr. King’s legacy through service, equity, and action. Events like the Frederick Club Nanbpwc MLK Awards and Jazz Brunch, remind us why community matters and why the work we do together is so important.

For January and February, we are proud to spotlight Andrea’s House as our Enrichment Program partner.

Andrea’s House is a faith-based transitional living program serving mothers and their children as they rebuild their lives in recovery.

They provide a safe, supportive home where women can heal, grow, and reunite with their children while receiving life skills training, recovery support, and community connection. Their mission is simple but powerful: saving lives, one mother at a time.

Through the Nelson Coleman Enrichment Program, 10% of all full-priced sales in January and February will be donated directly to Andrea’s House, helping support families on their journey toward stability, independence, and hope.

When you shop with purpose, your purchase becomes part of something bigger. Thank you for helping us give back to an organization making a real impact in our community. đź’•

The beginning

Remembering God’s promise and acting on it in her life, Carleah Phillips Summers founded the Rainbow of Love Recovery Foundation.

Putting her education, knowledge, personal battle with addiction, and years of experience in the addiction and recovery field and her deep and abiding faith in God; she aspires to empower, evangelize and bring hope to women, recovering from the disease of addiction.

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to assist women, recovering from the disease of addiction, and their children, in their journey to recovery; by helping them to become responsible and productive members of society.
