📚🐾 Lucy at Point of Rocks Library Today! 🐾📚

Lucy was dressed in her holiday best and had the best time visiting the Point of Rocks Library today! She was absolutely delighted as kids stopped by to read to her, sharing stories, smiles, and plenty of festive cheer. Moments like these remind us how special the bond between children and therapy dogs can be—especially during the holidays.

On Saturday, Lucy the Therapy Dog had a very special visit with Santa Claus! She cozied right up next to him and made sure to share her very important wish list. 🎄✨

Now the big question is… do you think Lucy has been a good girl or a very good girl this year? 😉 From spreading smiles, offering comfort, and sharing endless therapy dog love, we have a feeling Santa already knows the answer!

🎄 GRINCH CAPTURED & LUCY IS SAFE!
Big news in Thurmont today! The Grinch’s sneaky streak has officially come to an end — thanks to the quick work of the Thurmont Police Department!

After causing mischief all over town, the Grinch thought he could hide Lucy the Therapy Dog in the vestibule of the police department… right by the Christmas trees! But his plan didn’t last long. Officers moved fast, secured the Grinch, and most importantly — Lucy has been found safe and sound! 💛🐾

Thank you to our officers for saving the day and bringing Lucy home. The holiday spirit in Thurmont is officially restored! 🎅

🚨 OH NO… LUCY IS MISSING! 🚨
Lucy the Therapy Dog with Wags for Hope has disappeared — and we can hardly believe the shocking twist that’s been revealed…
💚 The GRINCH has her!
According to reports from the Thurmont Police Department, Lucy was spotted traveling around town with none other than the Grinch himself — even showing up at the barbershop as a very convincing “Max” the Corgi! 🐾🎄
Now the big question is…
✨ Is Lucy on a secret mission to change the Grinch’s heart?

🎄🚨 Be on the Lookout: Grinch Alert in Thurmont! 🚨🎄

We’ve had a few festively suspicious reports come in…

It appears the Grinch has been spotted around the Town of Thurmont!

What could he be up to? Sneaking around holiday decorations? Inspecting Christmas lights? Or maybe trying to sneak off with a little holiday cheer of his own?

Officers are asking everyone to keep an eye out for any Grinch-like behavior around town. He’s been seen sneaking around local businesses, wandering near the post office, and generally causing a bit of holiday mischief.

And the biggest mystery of all… whose dog is he traveling with, dressed up as Max? 🐾

If you see something, say something! Snap a photo (if it’s safe to do so), give him a wave, and share your sighting with us here on the Thurmont Police Department page.

We’ll keep posting updates as more Grinch sightings come in. Who knows where he’ll show up next?

🐾 Lucy the Therapy Dog Spreads Holiday Cheer for Toys for Tots! 🎁

Today, Lucy the Therapy Dog made a special stop at Walmart on Rt. 26 (Monocacy Blvd) to drop off brand-new toys in support of the Toys for Tots program, helping bring joy to children across Frederick County, MD this holiday season.

While out spreading smiles, Lucy also popped in to say hello to our friends at WFRE 99.9 and shared a friendly paw with an officer from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) and with the Marine. A BIG special thank-you and shout-out to the U.S. Marine on site collecting toys—because of their dedication, thousands of children will wake up to gifts, hope, and holiday magic this Christmas. ❤️

🎄🐾 Lucy the Therapy Dog Spreading Holiday Cheer at Frederick Health Hospital 🐾🎄

Today, Lucy suited up in her festive holiday outfit and headed to Frederick Health Hospital to share smiles, comfort, and lots of love. She visited the Pediatric ER and even made a special stop in the ER Department to spend time with a patient who needed a little extra support. Lucy curled up and sat quietly beside them for a while — showing just how amazing therapy dogs are. Somehow, they always seem to know exactly when someone needs them most. 💙

Between cuddle sessions and gentle kisses for patients and staff, Lucy truly brightened the day for so many. Her calm presence and big heart made a powerful difference, reminding everyone how special the human-animal bond can be.

Way to go, Lucy — spreading hope one paw at a time! 🐶✨
